In the past week there has been a lot made of Brett Favres Jets jersey sales, and his record setting pace more then likely topping out at 10,000. Now imagine what Michael Phelps, and swimming for that matter would be pulling down if they had a jersey similiar to that of an NBA or NFL jersey. Where would Phelps jersey sales top out at?
Oh Kenny Irons what are you doing
This is just another great video showing Bengals in action on an everyday basis in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky
The epitome of a Madden Curse
Although never accepted by the players who have been on the Madden cover, it appears once again the curse has struck, this time in the form of one of Mississippi's finest, Brett Lorenzo Favre.
Although Favre is yet to actually end his retirement it appears the Madden Curse has already struck his team in a violent and unforgiving way. Favre's decision to end his retirement has left the management, coaches, players, and fans questiong themselves, and their allegances. Do they support their Hall Of Fame ironman quarterback, or do they move on and put their faith in an untested Aaron Rodgers? This question may end up leaving the Packer franchise in shambles over the decisions by those directly involved.
How can Ted Thompson honestly be remembered in a positive light if he lets the almighty Brett Favre put on a jersey outside of the Packers legendary #4 jersey.
In any case it has become time that John Madden put his face back on the cover of this famous video game so that this curse can finally be put to an end, and the bad fortune of Garrison Hearst, Mike Vick, and now Brett Favre be forever put to an end.
It would appear after this year that no one would even consider allowing their face on the cover. LT's fans are already adamantly against his face being on the cover.
God fobid they go for a QB next year and a certain #9 of the Bengals ends up on that cover. That would certaintly be the end of another great player.
Greg Oden's "little" brother plays football
Can you imagine Greg Oden playing offensive tackle. Not while under NBA contract, but the next closest thing is Anthony Oden, Greg's younger brother who weighs in at 6'10 300 pounds. Look out SEC because the Lawrence North product is signed to play FOOTBALL at Arkansas

Good to know - The curse is in full effect for sure. VY got off lightly though...
