Hey there everyone! I'm Dust. I'm from a small town in Indiana and I'm a Hoosier by heart and a bearcat fan by nature. I have never thought about having one of these things but I decided to after hearing more and more of these conservative radio host dog mostly the athletes that act like they have some sort of life outside of Cincinnati. That is why I have decided to use this blog as the "other side of sports" the side that will deal with the small minded thinking that goes on here way too often. Go Bengals and leave Chad alone!

cool dust -- always good to hear from everyone. too often we get too many people with the same opinion.

can't wait to read what you have to say and how you back it up

i have to say (as someone who has been, uh, consuming cincy sports media for most of his 31 years) that there is a bit of a bias here against guys who "act" like stars.

that said, i think i understand some of the negativity toward #85 here. i'm not a bengals fan (go seahawks!) but i like the bengals and follow them fairly closely. i want them to do well, because i think the city deserves it.

i find it interesting how much my opinion of chad has changed in the last year, but i think it has more to do with a general distaste (that a lot of folks here share, i think) for a guy that seems to be putting himself above his team. is that mostly perception or is it reality? i try not to let my perception be colored too much by the talk radio guys, but they're closer to the team than i am, so i suppose that the average fan can't help but believe a lot of what they say. i guess we might have to wait for the season to start to answer that question...
