    Sweet TV

I have to let you know about an awesome show.

Ive never heard anyone talking about it accept the Gregulator.

It's like Curb Your Enthusiasum for gentiles. The only difference is instead of one Larry David, the whole cast are Larry Davids. So its like a cursing Seinfeld. I was surprised at how much it made me laugh, being the constant skeptic.

Also I love that commercial that has the Gingerbread man and his son. Played by Steve Buscemi and Norm Macdonald. It cracks me up every time.

I bought Die Hard for 4 bucks the other day. If you havent seen it recently, or you are one of the fetus types who havent even seen it once, you need to see it right quick.

Its really funny, and the best action movie that Ive ever seen. The Dark Knight a close second.

    Former Bengal goes to Denver......

Thursday, December 4, 2008, 10:24 AM EST [General]

Former  Bengals special teamer Herana-Daze Jones, is now a Bronco. He was injury prone, but led the team in special teams tackles for several years. I always liked this player. The few times he had to fill in on defense, listed on the roster as a safety, he played well. By well I mean better that Dexter Jackson.

So maybe here he got burned by Larry Johnson. Come on though, thats happened to alot on NFL safeties......

    TJ Houshmandzadeh, Bengals MVP

Monday, December 1, 2008, 07:27 PM EST [General]

Amazingly, despite all of the problems with the Bengals offense, TJ is having a other solid year. More than solid really. 12 games in he has played every game and racked up 81 catches for 810 yards with 4 touchdowns. Here are his game by game comeplete stats.

So on pace for another 1000 yard season and another 100 catch season the matter comes up of what to do with him. My oppinion is that you cant just let him go without getting anything. The compensitory pick we may or maynot get would be a late 7th rounder if he goes through free agency. Thats lame. Cant let that happen. I think they should hook him up.

To those who say without Chad he wouldnt do well cuz he is not a number one, you are right. He is never used as a number one. Even when Chad was out, they didnt line him up wide one time. He basically runs tight end routes and slot patterns. They used him like the Steelers use Hines Ward. Short routes and edge blocking.

TJ is a great freaking player and I think the Bengals should give him whatever he needs to keep him.

My thoughts on this past weekends events of note...

First of all, congrats to my Giants for stomping the life out of yet another division opponent. Hats off!

As far as the Plaxico Burress stuff: this guy is turning out to be a comeplete nightmare. I love how he convinced the bouncer to let him in the club with his 45 because he may have to shoot someone if they steal from him. What the hell? Too bad for him, the Giants will be fine without him. It will only matter if someone else goes down with an injury.

Next, UC. Best story of the year. Congrats from this bandwagon fan. Im ready to start hyping next year already. I cant wait to see Tony Pike after hes had a year to season.

B Kelly was on Jim Rome today so I thought Id try to get on. Usually trying to get on that show is impossible, but since Im in cincy and all thought Id give it a shot. I called once and it rang......and rang, and rang for like 2 minutes. Jason Stewart picked up, asked me a few questions and put me on hold. And then tragedy struck, I went through a dead zone and my phone crapped itself. Guess Ill just have to wait til he has Sean Miller on.........

So, last night I was watching the Vikings v Bears game and I heard something fantastic. The Bears were on defense and John Madden was talking about stripping the ball. He then went on to describe Bears defensive back Charles Tillman's ability to strip the ball by saying "he's one of the best strippers in the country". I laughed till I stopped

    .

That reminds me of a time that Chris Welsh was calling a game on FSN. The Reds pitcher was melting down on the mound. Reds Pitching coach Dick Pole came out and started screaming at the pitcher trying to fire him up. George Grand said that Pole was really dishing it out to which Welsh said "it's no fun having Dick Pole up in your face"  Broadcasting gold.
