    The agony of defeat.......

Monday, December 15, 2008, 12:57 PM EST [General]

Im starting to really hate the Cowboys. So they beat my G-men last night. Im not happy. Eli had a poor game, over/under throwing wide open recievers all day. It's hard to throw when you are getting sacked 8 times after one of your bookends goes down.

They sure could use Plaxico right about now.

    A question for lotd users:

Why don't you guys leave more comments? I know you are checking out my blog, but why do you never react? Is it because you dont care about my topics?

Please respond so I can make my blog better.

    My thoughts on Redsfest

Saturday, December 13, 2008, 04:45 PM EST [General]

I went friday and stayed for about 4 hours. It was sweet. I didnt bring my camera because Im an idiot and its really ashame. I missed about 2,000 great photo opps. Did you go? What did you think?

Said hi to Mo right before he participated in the Whiffle-ball homerun derby. It looked freaking impossible. Other prestigious participants included, Shayne Graham, Tara Packmeyer, some other hot news chick Megan something, Dr. Hollywood, and  others.

Met Destiny for the first time in person. I have to say that Ive never really given her much credit, but she was very cute.

Behind her was CTrent by himself at a little table. I was reminded of Clerks when I saw his crudely made sign with his name and boasted "live blogging". I would have saud hi to him, but he was on the move before I could.

The last time I had a CTrent encounter was at Bengals training camp. Then he had turned his ankle and it was wrapped in what appeared to be 7 pounds of ice.

    He is a funny guy.

I really wanted to meet Jeff Brantley and try to tell him how kicka$$ he is. It didnt happen. Marty and Thom would have been cool too. Im more of a fan of them than the reds.

Overall I would say it was something special. I went with my dad which made it extra cool.

    Xavier will win on saturday.

I am pumped. Normaly I root for X and UC except for one day a year. When that day comes I would gladly drink the blood of a Bearcat.

I listen to both teams on the radio and watch when I can. UC has the best radio team in town save for the Reds. But on this one day I would gladly see his team go down bigtime.

I adopted Xavier a few years back when they went deep in the tourney. It was an exciting time, and no one seemed to care at the places we watched the games.

No analysis here just a good feeling about a solid team. I miss Duncan and Lavender, but even without them it will be a physical pounding for UC.

    My prediction.

    Xavier-120

    UC-Dead and Bloated.

    Stuff 12-11

I have thoughts on a Christmas, sports a hot tv chic and, a few amusing photos as usual.

On Christmas: Have a good one. A time when Pagan and Christian traditions blend into this strange ritual that we all love so much.

There is no question that St Nick is for kids, but sometimes I wonder how we went from this to this

    Now sports

I think the Lions have what is takes to run the table in reverse. I am definately interested in that storyline.

Im confident the Giants wont fall apart, but I hate all this bullcrap. Those huge destractions hurt not only Plaxico Burress last week, but also Antonio Pierce. Pierce is New York's cornerstone for communication on D. He had a crappy game last week, and they lost. Weak.

The Suns traded Boris Diaw and Raja Bell. Rumblings about Steve Nash's unhappiness along with he and Shaq-fu's age is a major concerne to me. I am worried, no D and not enough points. It's a good thing there are like 30 playoff spots.

A tv recomendation. Weeds on Showtime is a pretty great show. Its about a suburban woman who sells pot. Ive seen all of seasons 1-3 and some of 4 which is the most recent season. Anyway, beside the premise I enjoy the main character played by Mary-Louis Parker. A sample:

Also here are a few silly pictures of my friends. Dont ask me why a Carhartt worksuit is funny, it a long and drunken story....

I guess it's obvious why this is funny.
