    Jay Bruce

Louisville CF Jay Bruce (Reds) is hot and getting hotter, and he’s hitting as well now as he has at any point in his pro career. Yesterday, he was 3-for-3 with a double, a triple and a home run. He didn’t get a chance to collect the single for the cycle, but he did reach first base twice on walks in his two other plate appearances.

The 21-year-old Bruce now has hits in nine of his past 10 games, with two or more hits in all but one of those games. In that time, he’s gone 22-for-36 (.611) with six doubles, two triples, three home runs, 12 RBIs, 11 runs, five walks and seven strikeouts.  Info from www.BaseballAmerica.com

Why can't we find a space for this kid. does anyone have an answer to that question anymore.

Agreed, it is comical at this point to hear Dusty and Jockety try to rationalize it. I saw an article where I think the AAA scouts said he had to do the little things better. I'm like, how much worse can he be at the little things than the big league club. It is absurd.
