    NFL Greats, pt. 2

Monday, December 8, 2008, 05:28 PM EST [General]

FAUX News- Katie Brown Blackburn can throw a football 25-30 yards. "I didn't have to recruit her. Bengals fans are lucky because she's family," says Bengals owner Mike Brown. During the Akili Smith-Jon Kitna years, Ms. Blackburn, executive vice president of the team, actually suited up. "She's not very tall. Unfortunately, she kept hitting the offensive lineman in the back with her throws," says Brown. "She had bigger hands than Kitna. He was worried about losing his job because she got the ball farther downfield."

"When there was a theme that we should hire a coach from the outside,  we needed to fool somebody to come here, " says Brown.  "Katie had the idea, let's fool Marvin Lewis into thinking he had player control."  Katie replies, "Dad-sir, that's my name for father.  Well,  he let Lewis pick most of the players in 2003 but after that, he picked them.  Odell Thruman.  That one was his idea. Chris Henry.  His idea.  You should have seen Coach Lewis after those picks.  He was so happy that he turned purple.  I can't wait to see what Dad-sir will get when we get the first pick of the draft."

"One thing I would like to see, is more draft picks from the Ivy League, " says Ms. Blackburn.  "You look at the football training I received from Dartmouth. The expertise that Dad-sir got from Harvard.  The fact that our quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is from Harvard.  You're seeing what an Ivy League training can do in the world of football and it's stunning."

Reporter G. Burbank had the opportunity to visit the Browns at home. "Our favorite get together is family movie night.  Dad-sir really likes disaster films.  The Poseidon Adventure, Earthquake, and the 2002 Cincinnati Bengals are his favorites."

    Chris Henry Defended

Sunday, December 7, 2008, 11:19 PM EST [General]

FAUX News- "There's a theme that Chris Henry is a punk.  That's not correct. So, he got a needless personal foul and on the interception, he gave up and watched the runback. That does not mean he is a punk. Look, he hasn't pulled a gun on someone in over two years, " says exasperated Bengals owner Mike Brown.  "I think what he needs is a friend. I'm going to look into getting his buddy from college, Pacman Jones. He should have a calming effect on him like that dog did to Seabiscuit. We're just a few quality players like these guys from winning two games next year."

    The New Star Trek Movie

Tuesday, December 2, 2008, 06:44 AM EST [General]

Okay, Babylonian here's the trailer for the new Star Trek Movie.  It's coming out in May of 2009.  It's about Kirk and Spock's early years.  Yes, you'll even see a young Scotty and Dr. McCoy.  Maybe Scotty will say, "I'm giving her all I can, Cap'n."  Or Dr. McCoy will say, "He's dead Jim."  Got to love the Alex Courage fanfare from the original series.  It makes you want to join NASA.  "Space, ... the final frontier..."  I can't wait.
