Friday, October 24, 2008, 05:18 PM EST [General]

Here's last night's SNL video of Tina Fey as our favorite point guard, Sarah Palin.

Bonus.  Here's a video of my guys Jackie and Dulap of Red State Update talkin' about Bill Ayers and looking for a way to link a terrorist to Obama.

Memo to the RNC and the McCain Campaign, it doesn't look good to shell out $150,000 for  clothes for our favorite point guard when she claims to represent Joe the Plumber and Joe Sixpack.  Those Joes don't shop at Sak's.

    Palin wants more power

Tuesday, October 21, 2008, 11:34 PM EST [General]

Our favorite point guard, Sarah Palin wants more power than allowed for a Vice President. Here's the video where she says a vp is in charge of the Senate. She also believes she can influence policy.   Er.... Gov. Palin, the Constitution allows you to preside over the Senate but you have no vote unless there is a tie.  See U.S. Const., Art. I, Sec. 3 [4].

You see, as Vice President, you are part of the executive branch of government.  So, Gov. Palin check out this Wikipedia article on the vice president's duties.

Gov. Palin you've made this power grab twice before. Here's Keith Olbermann's hilarious comment on your position.

    Bengals improve to 0-7

Sunday, October 19, 2008, 05:09 PM EST [General]

FAUX NEWS-  "I've never seen Yale so fast, " says Bengals' QB Ryan Fitzpatrick."Hahvard should sign better lineman to protect me."  "Fitzy, you're playing for the Bengals  It's the NFL. Those were the Steelers" said genius Bob Bratkowski, offensive coordinator.  "Holy, crahp. What in the name of Americer, am I doing in Cincinnata?" replied a confused Fitzpatrick.

Meanwhile, reporter G. Burbank was able to get the following dialogue between Bengals' defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer and cornerback David Jones.  "Coach, the refs are screwing us.  I touched that guy with two hands and they didn't call him down. "  "Dave, I have to remind you, this is the NFL. It's not two hand touch.  We play tackle." "Coach could you write that down for me?"

As what usually happens, the Bengals called their patented "CHOKE" defense in the fourth quarter.  Zimmer was disappointed.  "The Steelers were only supposed to score one touchdown to put the game away. We gave away two extra touchdowns. We're going to have to work on it."

Bengals' owner Mike Brown was very pleased with the effort.  "The fans enjoyed being humiliated.  I mean they fill up  the staduim every Sunday.  Now, they're going to bars and get drunk.  It's good for Cincinnati.  And we're on the road to history.  No team has lost sixteen games. This will guarantee our team the first round draft pick.  We need to pick a quarterback to back up third stringer Jordan Palmer. We're also heavily scouting the Ivy League for more quality players."

Harvard quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick challenged the Yale defense with his feet as well as his arm. He picked up 67 yards rushing on the game and 124 yards in the air.

Fitzpatrick thought he was playing Yale.  (Boston Globe/Barry Chin)

    Start Cedric Benson

Monday, October 13, 2008, 04:40 PM EST [Bengals]

Chris Perry basically gets to the line and falls down. A CBS color man agreed with this view.   So, why is Perry starting?  Injuries and the lack of playing have taken their toll on him .  I understand the line is not blocking well but he is unable to find any hole, and burst through .  That's unlike Cedric Benson who seems to find the hole and go through it.  He's also seems to have an ability to take on tacklers in the open field. Start Cedric Benson. Cedric Benson

One can dream that maybe he'll return to this.

One last thing, sit Carson Palmer down.  Why risk his and the Bengals' future.  If he can return in late December, then so be it.  But my understanding, is that it will take four to six weeks of rest for him to recover.  Maybe you look on waiver wire for a QB or even in the future let kid brother Jordan play if Ryan Fitzpatrick continues to stink up the place.
