Hart was solid at Michigan and has some serious endurance to hold up in big games and tote the rock 25+ times. He is as much his last name as he he is skill level. Hart couldn't have landed in a better situation and even with Rhodes returning to Indy, he should be able to secure the #2 spot. With Addai's injury history, that could bode well for whoever lands him. If Kenton Keith can be a star...you get the picture. Peyton Manning actually helped the coaching staff land him after being asked to watch tape before the draft. His blocking and shiftiness is what Manning liked, and what Peyton wants, Peyton gets.
DEVIN THOMAS-WR-WASHINGTON REDSKINS
Devin Thomas represents the BIG 10 back to back leaving his Spartan Green behind and ego after sliding on draft day. Thomas was projected to go as high as the Bills in round 1 but he didn't interview well apparently and red flags haunted him about lying on drug tests. Thomas is gifted and should find playing time right away opposite Santanna Moss, Randel El goes to the slot. Thomas will be on a short leash so he will either shine and blossom as a deep threat or could easily lose out to other rook, Malcom Kelly. If Zorn opens up the offense, keep an eye on Thomas to see if he will be on the recieving end.
Howie's son is the real deal and should wreak havoc ealry and often in St Louie. The dreaded term "high motor" suits him but so does relentess pursuit and smart kid. Both solid attributes that generally accelerates success in the NFL. Chris should be solid and I expect him to be comparable Mario Williams in his rookie campaign but much better. 70 tackles and double digit sacks, maybe even scoop a fumble and dance to the endzone here and there.
Shane Falco makes the list and if Todd Heap can play deaf the Replacement shoe might fit. Flacco was highy regarded as having the biggest cannon in the draft but after watching interviews of him I think he is the biggest jerk. Cocky and disrespectfull to the greats is what I saw which remind me to much of another big armed prospect that Indy figured out before San Diego years back. Yep, Ryan Leaf. Baltimore might be a good fit but an expired D Mason and busted Mark Clayton(must be the name, ask Chucky Gruden) might frustate the youngster into going Leaf on the locker room early. Flacco will demand top billing by owners but his stats and attitude may leave you in need to cross the picket lines for a replacement by mid season.
