Johnny Freaking Cueto, thats right, Johnny Freaking Cueto. Thats about all you have to say about the game yesterday. WoW, was he not dominant? If Volquez and Cueto can live up to their billing is their another team that can line up 3 bonified #1 pitchers like the Reds could end up doing this year.
Also, anyone see the line of Homer. 7innnings, 2ks, 1 run. His pitch count was not bad either. Hopefully Homer can continue to improve and he can join Cueto and Volquez in the majors. Wouldnt it be great to say that you have a pitching rotation where the worst one of the 5 is Bronson??
I am glad for EE and the Reds last night. What a game of redemption for EE. Maybe this will hopefully get some of the critics off his back. I still think of him as a 25 yr old 3rd baseman who has all the talent in the world to be one of the top 5 players at his position. Hopefully the light has gone on and his bat stays hot. He may never be a gold glove 3rd baseman but if he is going to hit around 300 with 80 + rbi's i can live with the errors.
