Friday, June 20, 2008, 10:36 AM EST [Reds]

Daryl Thompson will make his big league debut tomorrow at Yankee Stadium for the Reds.

Thompson is 3-0 with a 3.25 ERA at Class AAA Louisville.

Here is a story I wrote earlier this season on Thompson.

Talk about getting thrown in the fire. Maybe he can do to the Yanks what newbies have done to the Reds.

Interesting choice. Do you think this is a sign of a full-blown youth movement to come -- bring the kids up and let them take a beating if needed ASAP to help for 2009? Sees odd to me that they didn't go back to Fogg.

I can think of 31 reasons not to pitch Josh Fogg Saturday. As in 31 earned runs in his 28.1 innings... (for a team high 9.85 ERA)

I'm all for it. This will give me a reason to watch tomorrow.
