GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Second-year safety Chinedum Ndukwe did not practice Wednesday night and is out indefinitely, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said.
"He's got a lower leg thing that will hold him out of practice a little while," Lewis said. "When he heals, he'll heal."
Lewis would not elaborate on the injury.
Ndukwe left Wednesday morning's practice on a cart, then returned to practice before having an MRI on his leg.
Ndukwe, a seventh-round pick in 2007 out of Notre Dame, is listed as the team's backup to veteran strong safety Dexter Jackson.
