Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer had a minor procedure to repair a broken bone in his nose on Sunday morning, the team said. He is questionable for Thursday's final preseason game at Indianapolis.

"Carson is feeling fine," Marvin Lewis said in a statement released by the team. "He suffered a small crack in one of the nose bones. The bone was gently put back into place this morning under local anesthetic."

Palmer was sacked three times in Sunday's 13-0 loss to the Saints on Saturday night. He left the game just before the end of the first half with a bloodied lip and nose.

"I'll tell you what makes me angry, seeing my quarterback get up off the ground," said offensive tackle Levi Jones. "That's what will infuriate me at any point in time. Especially seeing blood. I'm highly pissed off about that."

The team said in its statement that Palmer is expected to be ready for the Sept. 7 at Baltimore.
