BALTIMORE -- The Bengals win the toss and defer.
Ed Reed was introduced as a starter.
* Short kickoff, but great special teams play by Herana-Daze Jones.
Flacco's first pass is completed to Todd Heap, Frostee Rucker causes a fumble, Robert Geathers recovers.
Bengals ball at the 33
Perry run for one, Palmer sacked.
Third and 15. Time out Cincinnati. Nice start of the season for the offense.
Kenny Watson in on third down. Palmer sacked -- slipped the tackle of Antwan Barnes and then slips, as Jarret Johnson covers him up.
They get the ball on the Ravens' 33 and get no points.
Downed at the 3. Great punt by Larson.
* Another 4-yard run on first down for the Ravens. That's not good.
Really nice PBU by Joseph on second.
Antwan Odom on the field for 3&6, his debut. Ray Rice just made Dexter Jackson, well, what a stiff arm. But not enough for the first.
Chatman returning the punt. Or, well, he was on the field. Bengal ball at the Raven 46.
* The second possession to start in Raven territory, they've really got to get a score here.
Chris Perry looks pretty good for 2-3 yards a carry. Not the best start.
First down on a Palmer sneak. That's a start, at least. A 2-yard gain. Oh, football math.
Daniel Coats isn't picking up the blitz. He's really struggling. But more scrambling for Palmer. Doesn't look like they've fixed that protection at all. Utecht first down. Palmer is getting zero time.
Nice job by the O-line opening a hole for a 9-yard Perry run. Coats blown up again, Perry loses 3.
Utect out wide on 3&4. Palmer throws to T.J., it's off his hands and Chris McAlister. He makes that catch last year. Could missing preseason have caused that? There's no anser, but there's certainly a question.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh kept saying it's "like riding a bike." Well, appears they need the training wheels of preseason.
Not a good start, following not a good preseason.
This could be a long, long season.
No rush on Flacco. They need pressure ona rookie QB. Wasn't it supposed to be the Bengals' line that was too good to pay Willie Anderson and the Ravens' offensive line that was so bad it needed Anderson? So far, the Ravens' line has been much better than the Bengals' d-line.
Odom back in for 3&7. That was just a missed throw from Flacco. He doesn't miss Mason for the first down. He has all the time in the owlrd and the Bengals can't cover anyone or put pressure on the rookie.
Looks like nothing has changed in Bengal-dom.
The Ravens are running no-huddle and the Bengals looked absolutely lost. First down on the sneak by Flacco.
Double revers for a touchdown. 42 yards. Missed tackles all over the place.
Bengal football it's faaaaaantastic.
Ravens 7, Bengals 0
Willie Anderson is pumping up his new teammates, clapping along, nodding his head. Could this season be worse than 2002?
Haruki Nakamura with the special teams tackle on the kickoff.
Jeez. 6 men on the line, incomplete. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.
Punt. Bad snap, great punt.
