Best. Jersey. Ever. Bengals inactives QB Carson Palmer (third QB) DE Eric Henderson OT Anthony Collins TE Nate Lawrie WR Andre Caldwell WR Jerome Simpson DE Antwan Odom DT Jason Shirley * So, with those inactives plus the injuries to Lynch, Sherry and Rivers, Pat Sims is your only 2008 Draft pick who has a shot to play today. * Beanie Wells? Are you high? There's one thing the Bengals need to do on draft day -- and that's draft offensive and defensive lines. * Any other thoughts? Talk about it on the forum now, and then watch along with the live blog here later... Eagles inactives QB A.J. Feeley (3rd QB) RB Lorenzo Booker FB Kyle Eckel LB Joe Mays DE Bryan Smith G/T Shawn Andrews G Mike McGlynn TE Matt Schobel Max Jean-Gilles will start at RG in place of Shawn Andrews Also, for the Bengals, Frostee Rucker will start in place of Antwan Odom

WDR at it again
Friday, November 14, 2008, 06:21 PM EST [Bengals]
Who Dey Revolution is calling for volunteers for Project Mayhem Task #3. Although I don't see #2 or #3 as more than regular fan action (#1 was more Mayhem, the billboard's not exactly new and the boycott is more civil disobedience), I do like the way they're going about everything. So, here's the call: To spread the word, WDR has printed up thousands of flyers calling for a boycott at the game Sunday. We need volunteers who are willing to walk around the tailgate on Sunday and hand out these cards to Bengals fans asking them to stop supporting the despot, Mike Brown. Think of all the free beer. Everyone who volunteers will also get a FREE WDR t-shirt. We plan to meet up around 10:30am at the NorthEast corner of Lot B, right up against the Freedom Center Garage, at the corner of 2nd and Vine St. Just so you know... (And guys, I'm hoping for more Mayhem on task #4 -- I hope that one win didn't make you soft) And the guys hooked up with Mo's sponsor for Hire A GM shirts Tags:

Lewis says Odom 'likely' out
Friday, November 14, 2008, 01:02 PM EST [Bengals]
Following Friday's practice at Paul Brown Stadium, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said injured defensive end Antwan Odom will likely miss Sunday's game against the Eagles. "It's not likely he'll play," Lewis said. Odom injured his left shoulder in practice on Wendesday and said before practice that he had an MRI on Thursday and expected to hear the results on Friday. He said he probably wouldn't play. The news was better on running back Cedric Benson, who went through the full practice on Friday after missing Thursday's practice. "He had a tight back yesterday," Lewis said. "He did all the walk-through today." Benson spoke briefly after practice. "I'm feeling good, I had a full practice," Benson said. Safety Chinedum Ndukwe was back at practice after missing the last two practices with a foot injury. "He's going to be fine," Lewis said. "He did some things yesterday and did everything today. He should be fine." Not counting the players each team had listed as out -- Carson Palmer for the Bengals and Shawn Andrews for the Eagles -- the Bengals had six players who didn't practice on Thursday and three who were limited, while the Eagles had just one player (cornerback Asante Samuel) who missed Thursday's practice and none listed as limited. That large injury report was despite the Bengals coming off of a bye week. I asked if that was a long list considering they were coming off of a bye week. "Not necessarily," Lewis siad. "There were some guys that didn't work yesterday, they all worked on Monday, most of them worked on Monday. Some didn't work yesterday. Again, there's nothing we can control on that, if a guy needs to take some time, he'll take some time." Tags:
