About Me: Just your average diehard Cincinnati sports fan who loves listening to great Sports Talk Radio. Unfortunately, 1530 Homer is less enjoyable when C. Trent Rosecrans is on the air.
Dislikes: Listening to C. Trent breathing heavily into the phone when Mr. Cutler or Mcalister are conversing with him live on the air.

    C. Trent must go!

I'm just your average Cincinnati sports-loving fan who enjoys listening to 1530 Homer to hear updates, talk, criticism, and praise regarding my favorite sports teams: Reds, Bengals, Bearcats, and yes, also the Muskies.

Lately though, my listening enjoyment is brought down a few levels whenever C. Trent gets on the air. At first, I appreciated some of his inside info. Any more, I've grown tired of his act. He's boring. He's rude. He breathes WAY too deeply into the phone when he's live on the air. His blog is commonly full of mispelled words. The information on the blog is definitely worthwhile. I'm not complaining at all about his blog. But when he's on the air, it's a different story.

Powers-that-be at 1530 Homer, if you knew what was good for your ratings, you'll keep this bozo off the radio so that fans don't have to listen to his banter, breathing, and rude comments. The last straw was when, after Mr. Cutler made a simple-minded opening comment to C. Trent yesterday about Volquez being spectacular, C. Trent replied with "Alan, you're boring me" and rudely hung up on him. You had to hear the previous morning's discussion to understand the inside joke of the "you're boring me" comment, but hanging up on a host when it's your JOB to talk? Uncalled for, very unprofessional, and not something that you want to do as a guest when many fans already don't have a high opinion of your on-air commentary.

As for Mr. Cutler, of course he can be annoying at times. But he grows on you like a fungus. I enjoy listening to Mr. Cutler 40% of the time (because the other 60% of his airtime is wasted saying "Pitching pitching pitching pitching PITCHING!" or "Top of the morning!" Overall, he's worth listening to and has a good feel for the games.

Lance, his research is great, his stats are wonderful, he brings energy and entertainment to sports talk. Sure, he's a dork at times, and he openly admits it. But his commitment to excellence in sports-talk radio is nearly unparalleled.

That's my opinion. Now I want to hear yours.

Everytime C-Trent does something that bothers you, annoys you, rubs you the wrong way, or makes you think to yourself "Shut up!" or "Breathe away from the phone!" or "Learn how to spell!" then just blog away. That's what this blog is for.

    Fire away.

Gentlemen, I'm not complaining about his blog.
Definitely worthwhile info on his blog most of the time.

I'm complaining about when he's on the air. It's awful radio and adds nothing to the shows.

Now if you would, please stick to the blog topic: complaints about C. Trent. If you'd like to start an "I Love C. Trent" blog elsewhere, please feel free.

    Thank you.

I can't believe I typed "fulling." That was unfortunate.

I think the opposite of this. Alan is usually the rude clown first, saying something dumb as usual, the C. Trent just calls him on it.
