    Cuban ?

Just a thought....What do you think Mark Cuban would spend on a payroll if he bought the REDS ?   Around 75 million ??  Nah, we can't prove it, but the man wants to win and is willing to put $$$$ up.  Ok, so Dallas hasn't won an NBA Championship.  But how much better are they since he took over.

Couldn't you see Cuban spending 100-125 million in Cincy.  And, he wouldn't lose $$$$.  He'd find a way to make it work.

Castellini promised you a winner.  Let him open up the checkbook.  For now on, when any team is for sale, shouldn't a question be, are you willing to pay the money it takes to field a winner.

Pittsburgh also stinks.  Don't you think Cuban spend big dollars there ?

Some of you think I'm negative.

Some of you think I'm tough.

Not really.  I think you deserve a winner and the man has promised you a winner.

    When ?  2015 ?  How many more '5' year plans ?

So the REDS have to win something like 60% of their games to get back to .500.    Sure.

Nice to know Chad is making noise at camp.  Bet for today, a lot of guys who get tired of it, thought it was a beautiful sound.

I like the toughness of Zimmer with the Rivers holdout.

Don't like the soft tone of Marvin.

How does Glenn Holt make the team ?

If Chatman stays healthy, the little guy might  move the chains a number of times this year.  He catches the ball over the middle, gets low.  Who is going to stop that pass ?

Bronson just knocked in two.  REDS up 2---zip.

I was wrong about Bronson.  I wanted to dump him because I thought that was another contract the man couldn't fit in a 75 million dollar budget.

It's not my $$$.  It's not yours.  Castellini promised you a winner.

Why aren't more of you upset over 1000 years of losing teams.

    You deserve better !

Phillips had an awful weekend.  But, how can you get mad at him?  The good outweighs this weekend by a ton.

Phillips wants to be captain.  What is the rush ?

Watching Zorn last night for the 'skins, I remember interviewing him in 1980 in Boise, Idaho.  He wouldn't remember in a million years.  I can't forget.

I asked him what he wanted to be as a kid when he grew up.  HE SAID A FIREMAN.

He was smart.  He said he had the weakness arm on the team, but he was the starting quarterback. He was fun to watch in Seattle.  I'm guessing the way TV was back then, you didn't get to see him much.

Hat of to Mick.  He doesn't stop recruiting.  How can some of you be done on him.  Baffles me.

I love Mark Cuban! I like an owner who could care less what anyone else thinks. He does what he wants and what he believes will put a winner on the court. He undoubtedly gets an A for effort. This is not a knock on Bob Castellini. He has signed the big name closer and the big name manager. This offseason should be interesting, though.

Why waste your hot air on Cuban. That will never happen. You can't expect Castellini to turn this wreck around in a hurry. The reconstruction is taking place before your eyes. In this town of "wait until next year", this is when we should wait. The new regime is building something something that will last. "We will not continue to lose " did not mean this year. The Lindner regime destroyed this team. Give it some time. It is proven that free agents are not the quick cure. This team will turn around soon!!! You remind me of George Grande.
