    Harang And Today

Thursday, September 18, 2008, 05:00 AM EST [General]

Wow !  The Horse is back.  Harang was big time last night.  Get pitching like you saw from Harang and then Bronson the night before, and you don't need a ton of runs.  I was glued to the tube watching the ace of the Reds.

To the man who many think is the ace, and the battle he faces with a former RED.  Don't let it fool you, there is something extra going on between the Cardinals and Reds.  Makes it fun.

Trouble between the two started in the fifth inning of the Reds' 7-3 win on Aug. 17. Lohse batted in the top half with two runners on base, and Volquez threw up-and-in to him. Volquez (16-5, 3.22 ERA) led off the bottom half and Lohse's first pitch was high-and-tight, leading plate umpire Greg Gibson to warn both teams.
