    Is TJ Crazy ?

Thursday, October 30, 2008, 05:47 AM EST [General]

    IS TJ Crazy ???

Bengals wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh told Adam Schefter of NFL Network that his team, currently 0-8, will not finish this season 0-16.
"If the season ends and we don't win a game," Houshmandzadeh said, "I will walk from my house to the NFL Network studios."
That would be Houshmandzadeh's off-season residence in Cerritos, located about 27 miles from the NFL Network studios in Culver City, not his in-season home in Cincinnati.
"I never thought about if we will go 0-16," he said. "It never crossed my mind until you said it and asked me the question."
No word yet if any Detroit Lion is willing to make the same wager.

    Chad Doesn't Get It !

Thursday, October 30, 2008, 05:31 AM EST [General]

Why can't Chad act like others.  Why do WIDE OUTS have to be different.  NONSENSE !

Chad Johnson says it's hard for people to understand the personalities of wide receivers.

Is Tennessee hurting because PACMAN doesn't play there anymore ?

It's within the RULES, and the RULES are going to change, but Kentucky is going to take some heat over this.

The University of Kentucky operated within NCAA rules when it paid the father and brother of high school basketball star Daniel Orton a combined $6,750 to work at its camps this past summer.

The E Mails flooded in.  So, we are going to play the entire interview with Artrell Hawkins this morning at six.

    HAWKINS !

Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 09:58 AM EST [General]

Artrell Hawkins was a great guest this morning.

After New England cut him, the day after, owner Robert Kraft called to thank him for his services.  He did start 21 games.

He noticed the difference in the work ethic by the players in New England vs. the Bengals. That players got there really early and stayed really late.  That they were competitive with each other and made sure you got there really early before your first meeting.

Hawkins says that Bill B. never played favorites.  That he would jump on Tom Brady.

Hawkins says that Marvin would play favorites.

After Dillon scored for New England against the Bengals, the next day, before talking about the win, Dillon was told that you don't celebrate.  That it came from the owner.  That Bill B. agreed with it.  That this is the way you act when you play for New England.

His respect for Bill B. was a "10 or 11."

Hawkins was funny talking about how he has a "man crush" on New England's coach.

Respect for Marvin ?  Hawkins says it's now a 5.

And that Marvin could have nipped the Chad nonsense a long time ago, but chose not to.

Hawkins will be joining us on Tuesdays at 8am.  I am surprised how many e-mails I have already gotten from his appearance this morning.

    Junior Done ?

Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 05:29 AM EST [General]

Chicago doesn't want Junior. I guessed early in the season he'd end up with 18 home runs and 72 RBI's. That was the ballpark guess.  He ended with 18 and 71.

Who would sign Junior ?  Remember there were guys like Piazza who I thought could still hit that couldn't get a job last year.

How would you like to have Mike Singeltary as your boss ?  Is that what the Bengals really need ?

If you don't think Marvin ever yells, ask a media type whose waited to get in the locker room after the game.

You want Marvin to go off on Joseph because Mike would have done it. But, how would you respond to that ?

Yelling like Mike all the time has a shelf life. With Mike yelling, is it now all about Mike ?  Look at all the attension he's gotten for the 49ers in the last 48 hours.  When is the last time that franchise has gotten that ?

Guess Lap has heard the same rumor I've heard, and I know some national media types have heard the same thing.  That Marvin wants out after this year and he'd take 50 cents on the dollar on his contract to walk after this year.  The truth is, no one knows.....and this rumor is taking a life of it's own.  But, that doesn't mean there is an ounce of truth to it.  And, if it were true, who would admit it ??

And, you don't believe Mike would pay Marvin half to let him walk either, do you ?
