We'll Keep the Bell - thanks!

My Alma Mater kept the Victory Bell for the third year in a row! I was at the UC/Miami game on Saturday night and got to watch my Bearcats bring home a victory. Tony Pike looked great and in his first start since his Reading days, he completed 20-24 passes for 250+ yards and three touchdowns. While Miami was able to hang on for a little bit, Mike Mickens made sure he lived up to his "All-American" billing by picking off a pass and taking it back 72 yards for a touchdown - thus ending any Redsquawk threat. Below is a couple of my favorite shots from the game (via The Cincinnati Enquirer)

Listen to that sweet sound of "VICTORY"

I know it's a traditional rivalry and all, but now that UC is becoming a big time football school in a BCS conference, do they really need to gloat about beating a MAC school? It's not like Big Ben's still there or anything.

Anytime we beat Cryami its a good thing, its a rivalry game. It doesn't really matter what conference they are from. Either way the Bearcats are on a roll again.
