The Lansing Lugnuts (Toronto, 33-29) have been a pain to the Dayton Dragons all season long. They lead the season series by taking eight of the first twelve and now stand in the way of the boys making the playoffs as a four game series gets under way tonight in Lansing.

Dayton's magic number is six with eight games left so they need to play well in this set. The Lugnuts won the first half on the Eastern Division and if the Dragons do make the playoffs on the second half wild card; they would meet in the first round of the MWL playoffs.

Maybe it is the fact that their mascot is a Dragon however the boys need to beat the Lugs starting tonight. At least he has Lugs for nostrils
