Since being called up to Dayton from Billings; Neftali Soto has been really good. He is hitting .333 in just over two hundred at bats with 33 runs batted in. Tonight he was two for four with two RBI's in a 6-3 win that will bring Dayton to the brink of the playoffs.

It is also helpful because the Dragons would meet Lansing (Toronto, 34-30) in the first round of the playoffs at the end of next week.

The Lugnuts have dominated the fire breathers all season and it would be nice to see the boys try to set a tone for the best two out three series that could be.

The series continues with game three tomorrow in Lansing. The Dragons will close the season at home with a four game set at 5/3 against the West Michigan Whitecaps; this Friday through Labor Day. This maybe a good chance for some of you all come see the future Reds in the playoff hunt.
