The Midwest League seems to get the playoffs in because they have to which in general means the hottest team will win. They play a best two of three first round, a best two of three second round, and a best three out of five championship series. This is all completed in ten days. Get 'em on, get 'em over, and get 'em around.
The Dayton Dragons (Reds, 38-32 second half; 66-72 overall) will take on the Lansing Lugnuts (Toronto, 37-33 second half: 76-64 overall) in Game one of their series at 5/3 Field in Dayton at 7pm on Wednesday.
The Dragons lost the season series to the Lugnuts 7-9 however they took three of the last four against Lansing.

Give me the Dragons, I like the last 3 out of 4 streak, victory goes to the hot streaks!
