I came across this recently, so I thought I would share.  http://www.theospark.net/2008/02/new-golf-terms.html

My favorite?  Probably "John F. Kennedy Jr." Which means that you didn't make it over the water.

    I find tinsel distracting

Tomorrow the Festivus Pole goes up. We do this at work, and this is the second year.  If you think I'm kidding, go to

http://www.festivuspoles.com/pages/Festivuspoles.htm  It is a good way to thumb your nose at all the corporate, politcally correct holiday crap that goes on every year.  I'll post a photo tomorrow.

    Missed Opportunity

Tuesday, November 25, 2008, 10:20 PM EST [General]

Last week, I was in Dallas for a business trip. Unfortunately, I failed to realize that Saturday was the 45th anniversary of JFK getting his blown off.  Otherwise, I would have walked the 4-5 blocks to Dealy Plaza from the Fairmont to stand on the grassy knoll, and to hike up to the Sixth Floor Museum where they have preserved the spot where Lee Harvey Oswald (if you believe he acted alone) made his mark in history.

That, of course, got me to thinking about a business to recreate JFK's ride on that fateful day. Then I found this: http://www.alternet.org/columnists/story/6771/hightower:_the_jfk_limo_tour/   I wonder if they are still in business??
