General]

For me, the real intrigue to this card lies in the undercard bouts. I told myself I was going to skip this PPV but who am I kidding? I have no willpower.
First televised bout
Rich "No Love" Clementi vs. Gray Maynard. I'm really looking forward to this fight but it has the potential to be a stalemate. Clementi's best shot is to put his BJJ skills to use early in this fight. I see Gray Maynard eeking out a 3 round split decision by controlling Clementi with his wrestling skills.
Tyson Griffin vs. Sean Sherk. People execpting to see a barnburner with Griffin like they saw when he took on Clay Guida are going to be disappointed. Again, this is going to be a 3 round split decision going in favor of Sean Sherk. I expect the fight to take place on the ground for all 3 rounds.
Fabricio Werdum vs. Junior Dos Santos. I hate to admit it but I have not done my homework and don't have a clue about Dos Santos. Because of that, I'll go with Werdum with a 2nd round submission.
Thiago "Pitbull" Alves vs. Josh Koscheck. This is easily the fight I'm most looking forward too. Alves is been on a nice win streak over the past year and a half and he's also a physical specimen. Josh Koscheck has continued to evolve into a complete mixed martial artist. I can't stand the guy, in fact I have more disdain for him than I do just about any other professional athlete but the guy is a stud. He's yet to show he can finish off opponents so I expect another split decision in his favor. I would love to see Alves pound him into a bloody pulp though. What Koscheck lacks in humility he makes up for in ability and athleticism so I don't see him being controlled. It would make my night to see Alves put him out onto q_ueer street.
Main Event for the UFC Middleweight Championship
Anderson "Spider" Silva vs. Patrick "The Predator" Cote. Anderson Silva by first round decimation. Cote has been on a roll lately but he's still a level below a fighter the calbier of Anderson Silva. He's got a punchers chance but that's it. I don't see any way possible that he can pull this off. I hope it's atleast exciting because I have a feeling it's not going to be the most exciting card the UFC has put on. A lot of fighters are matched up with guys that have similar styles.
