-Did you guys see this. My good friend Mark Chalifoux has an MMA blog and wrote about the MMA event for ESPN.com this past week in North Carolina. This guy will never be the same.

Mark saw this live and said that after the kick the guy went back down to try to put pressure on it and collapsed immediately. Then the guy in the red and white shorts jumped on top of him and started whaling on him because he didn't realize that he just snapped his leg in half. Apparently the ref didn't see it either but Joe Rogan started yelling at the ref to stop the fight. The medics then set the leg back in place in the ring and the guy was screaming while they did it.

-Happy Gilm...I mean John Daly is in the news again for smashing the camera of a fan during the first round of a tournament in Australia.

Daly was on the last hole during a disappointing (I believe six-over round) round when he pushed his ball into the trees. While preparing to take a drop a fan got very close to his face and took a picture. After the round the fan called Daly a "bloke" and declined tickets to the tournament for the rest of the weekend from tournament officials.

He declined the tickets and denied Daly when the disgruntled golfer told him he would pay for the camera immediately after he smashed it.

I like J.D. but he's got serious anger issues. If he had any sort of mental toughness he would be a great golfer. Unfortunately, whether it's throwing a putter into the lake, not signing a scorecare, being found drunk in a Hooters parking lot, or smashing a camera against a tree, Daly can't control himself. He is in the news at least every two weeks for something and it is rarely for any good reason.

Last week he was in the news for firing a great round somewhere but apparently blew it on Friday and missed the cut.

-My friend Chris postponed the show until tomorrow so I'm still unsure if I'll be able to do that show. Now that my night is free it's Hofbrahaus all the way tonight. I'll be there probably around 9:30 to grab a table for the UC game.

-UC down in Hawaii tonight for an 11:30 p.m. est. kickoff, game is televised on ESPN2.

-UC basketball home against UAB today at noon est. T.V.-FSN Ohio.

-I would rather see UC somehow make the Sugar Bowl, honestly the thought of playing Boston College or Virginia Tech isn't all that appealing.

-A friend of mine from school does an internet radio show and I will be a guest host tonight. Check out the podcast sometime this week. The show is called "On the Rocks" so just click on On the Rocks episodes and follow it to todays date Saturday December 6th.

-Has anyone or any band hung on the coat tails of a song more than this group. As I saddle up my horse and I ride into the CITTTAYYYY.

Seriously, first poker, now it's on college gameday and I think I've heard it on either Sunday or Monday night football a few times. But hey as long as they can keep revising the catchy lyrics to fit whatever show their doing and making some coin...more power to 'em.
