Just got done reading an article in about golfer J.P. Hayes. I'll link to it but it's kinda long so I'll give you the gist of it. The guy used a prototype golf ball during a PGA qualifying round which deems disqualification. After he hit the ball the first time he called over an official and told him that he had accidentally used a different type of ball from that of which he started with. The official told him that he had to finish the hole with that ball and then switch while taking a two stroke penalty. Hayes obliged but later realized in his hotel room that the ball was illegal. He called an official and was later disqualified.

In the tourney Hayes was welll on his way to qualifying and getting a card for the tour this year. I think now he'll have to qualify for each individual event.

I firmly believe that not many people would do the same thing. ESPN even put up a poll asking if you would do the same thing. I was honest and said no. To my suprise the poll was damn near dead even.

Congrats to Tim Lincecum on winning the NL Cy Young (I'm sure he's reading my blog so he'll probably see this). I thought Volquez was giving him a run for his money early in the season until Volquez dropped off a little bit. I love the immediate reaction to it from Lincecum though.  Here it is.

being my alma mater, anderson high school's Andrew Norwell is on the list of people to watch for 2010. the list is the top 250 players of all positions but they are not ranked. a friend of mine grew up across the street from andrew and told him today that Ohio State offered him a scholarship and that it is his top choice. of course nothing official yet but a good bet. heres a link to the rivals list

anyone who follows the big ten or college football closely might remember his brother chris who played d-line for illinois and was a four year starter.

whoever had the guff to dress their kid up like mark mangino is great. to acknowledge that your son has the perfect baby fat to produce a double chin comparable to mangino's should be commended.

look i understand the swastikas are a bit much and the patriots cant portray that image so they had to let her go but sadly, a lot of us, myself included, have woken up with a giant penis drawn on our face. apparently the patriots said they didn't care as much about the penises but the swastikas did her in. shes smokin hot though
