Well, the Brewers fought back a little bit, at least.  Not that it did them any good.  Anyone else watching the Rays-White Sox game?  Junior has two hits so far and has scored once.

The Yankees are out of the playoffs for the first time in 13 years.  If TB faces Boston (same division) in the ALCS, do the Yankees buy every free agent in sight this winter?

In NY payroll has not equated to success.  I hope they do.  The FA class is weak so that would mean they would overpay and continue the streak of mediocre play. 


 


It shouldn't effect the Red's.  I don't think they get better using FA anyway.  Maybe we add 1 or 2 guys that way, the rest via trade.
