White House threatens veto of foreclosure rescue

Amen The  Knuckleheads in Washington Might get it right!

Before I post the story I am going to give you my thoughts. I don't care if you agree or disagree with them.  These are my thoughts.   Many of you will probably agree and a lot of you will not and I could care less.

The whole mortgage foreclosure crisis is a joke! This is a two way street between banks giving loans to people who cannot afford them and people taking loans they have no way of repaying. Now the banks want bailed out and so do the consumers. No If you were dumb enough to take out a loan on a house you could not afford, this is your problem, not mine. I do not want you to get one red cent of the tax dollars I pay to help your irresponsible **** out. Sound harsh? Well good!  I bought my first house when I was 23 and my second when I was 26.  My first house was a modest 1100 square foot home that needed to be gutted and refinished that was what I could afford.  So that is what I did.  Sure I would have loved to have the 4 bedroom 3500 square foot house I have today then, but it was not economically smart.  So we waited and worked and saved until that goal was attainable.  Four years later I still live there and I can still pay my mortgage, why because I unlike so many other Stupid Americans did it the right way.  I bought a home I could afford, took a fixed interest loan, with 20% down.  I did not take a 100% loan that was interest only.  This is the most absurd thing a home buyer can do.

So now we have a crisis and in the true American way instead of blaming the person in the mirror for the mistake the American people want the government to bail them out. Because heaven forbid people in this country stand up and man up to their own mistakes and deal with the issue head on.  Nope they simply ask the already way too involved in our lives Federal government for a free hand out. You want special interest loans you want free money because your house lost value...welcome to the real world.  This happens!  If you want government involved in every aspect of your life and telling you what to do...move to China, catch the next flight to France for all I care...just don't burden me the tax payer with your problems because YOU were irresponsible.

Those of you who are renters and wish to buy a house someday...the right way good luck I applaud your efforts and for those who own homes and did not bite off more than your wallet can absorb I applaud you.  But for those who listened to banks over common sense and are losing their homes....you get what you deserve.

Here is the article that started my rant:

Gloucester Teens Had Pact To Get Pregnant

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (WBZ) - There's a stunning twist to the sudden rise in teen pregnancies at Gloucester High School. Seventeen students there are expecting and many of them became that way on purpose.

Time Magazine first reported that nearly half of the girls confessed to making a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together. None of them is older than 16.

Schools Superintendent Christopher Farmer told WBZ's Bill Shields Thursday the girls had "an agreement to get pregnant."

Farmer said these are generally "girls who lack self-esteem and have a lack of love in their life."

"The common threat is the lack of self-esteem and purpose in life, and a lack of a sense of direction," said Farmer. "Young women wanting and needing affection."

Principal Joseph Sullivan has not returned calls from WBZ for comment.

Sullivan told the magazine that the pact wasn't the only shocking incident.

"We found out one of the fathers is a 24-year-old homeless guy," he told Time.

Last month, two top officials at the high school's health center resigned in a fight over contraceptives distribution.

Medical Director Dr. Brian Orr and chief nurse practitioner Kim Daly support confidentially giving contraceptives to students. They were outraged about resistance from Addison Gilbert Hospital, which administers the state public health grant that funds the school clinic.

Normally, the school has about four pregnancies per school year.

According to Time, school officials started looking into the spike in pregnancies after an unusual number of girls came to the school clinic for pregnancy tests. Some came by several times.

"Some girls seemed more upset when they weren't pregnant than when they were," Sullivan told the magazine.

The pregnant girls and their parents turned down requests to be interviewed.

A recent graduate who had a baby during her freshman year told Time she knows why the girls wanted to get pregnant.

"They're so excited to finally have someone to love them unconditionally," Amanda Ireland, 18, said. "I try to explain it's hard to feel loved when an infant is screaming to be fed at 3 a.m."

Ireland also spoke with WBZ about her young pregnancy.

"I don't call it a mistake because the way I look at is everything happens for a reason," Ireland said. "But, no, she was not planned."

Ireland will soon become the godmother to her 17-year-old friend's baby boy.  Kyla Brown is one of the school's 17 pregnant girls.  She says her pregnancy was not planned.  Her baby is due in mid-September.

WBZ has also tried to contact Mayor Carolyn Kirk and Public Health Director Jack Vondras. Both are said to be out of town this week.

Beyond the social implications of the pregnancies, there are some legal questions being asked, including whether the men who fathered the babies will face charges of statutory rape.

I am so hype right Now....ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE!!!

I was pumped last night t see the Celtics win it brought back childhood memories of me watching the finals on TV with my dad and hearing stories about playing against Pistol Pete in College.

But what I witnessed after the game I can't explain. I do not understand it for one.  It was like watching a mentally challenged kid in a spelling Bee, or a woman trying to throw a football, or even better watching the 3 bouncing blondes try to explain the Man on Moon. Who will by the way be on the Mo Egger show later this week.  Simply put it was weird and about as bad of a train wreck as I have ever seen...maybe not as bad as Broadway Joe wanting to kiss Suzy Kolber but you get the point...if you don't believe me watch for yourself.
