Well, its a serious question. Even the IDIOT Rico who called in to Mo's show thinks Bruce should be up now.
NOW THIS IS A MEMO TO ALL REDS FANS!!!!!!!!!! JAY BRUCE WILL HAVE A SLUMP!!!!!!DONT TURN ON HIM!!!
Ive heard you all on 1530. Its really pathetic. Once a player has a great start, they are the savior of the Reds, but then they dont have another day like the one they started with, you cruicify them. So im just warning you all now. BRUCE WILL SLUMP! DO WHATEVER YOU HVE TO DO TO PREPARE FOR THAT!!!!!
JAY FREAKING BRUCE!!!!! WOW! Can the reds really have these great starts from their young guys??? if this is the case, keep bringing them up. I just hope that Jay can keep this up. Granted, hes not going to stay 1.000 for the whole year, but if he is a .400 hell, maybe even a .350 hitter, it will be a great start to a lengthy carrer. GO BRUCE!!!! Lets see what you do tomorrow!!!!!!!! GO REDS!
Something i found out while writing my last blog post, WHY IS DUNN EVEN IN THE OUTFIELD?! HE WEIGHS 275 POUNDS!!!!!!!!! So i looked up some other outfielders weights in the leauge. The Highest i found was 235, and i forget who it was. But, the average was about 210. You strap 60 pounds onto any one of them guys and see how they do out there. Prince Fielder weighs 270 pounds. You think they will stick him in the outfield anytime soon? Hell, John Daly (golfer) weighs 283
i can hear people now....HE HITS HOME RUNS!!!! If you almost TRIPLE Dunns RBI's, DOUBLE Dunns hits, and more than TRIPLE Dunns Doubles... you have JOSH HAMILTON......didnt we trade him?
SO, can anyone tell me why Dunn is in the outfield???
First of all, i do not consider myself a DIEHARD Reds fan. I like it when they win, and hate it when they lose. I follow the reds and keep somewhat track in the farm systems. Living in Dayton, i can goto Dragons games and see some of the talent coming up. Now, onto my takee
BRING YOUR TALENT UP!!!! Thats pretty simple. If you are going to lose for 7(?) straight seasons, at least bring your young people up and get their feet wet in the Majors. Instead you want to abide by all the millionaires wishess and keep them in, if they can play or not(Dunn....Griffey) Isnt that why we traded Hamilton??? The "VETERENS" didnt want to give up their spot to a young guy who was OBVIOUSLY proving himself. Jay Bruce is a BEAST on the feild, and we can bring him up because we cant put him in without catching crap from them. Another good point Lance made, maybe we, the fans, arent ready to see a bunch of young guys on the field. But the thing you gotta remember, everyone had to make a start sometime. everyone is a rookie at one point or another. So if this season is a loss already, which its looking like that more and more, let the vets realize, THEY HAVE TO WORK FOR THEIR JOB! its not a guarantee.
The thing i want to see is our young guys that we bring up through our systems. Each one of our Minor systems have winning records. The must be good... right?????
