(
Cincinnati ) A former worker at the Hamilton County Morgue who has
admitted to raping the body of a murder victim in 1982, will spend the
next three years in prison. 55-year-old Kenneth Douglas was sentenced
today to 18 months in prison for gross abuse of a corpse and 18 months
again for violating his parole on drug trafficking charges.
Hamilton
County Common Pleas Court Judge William Mallory expressed disapointment
that he couldn't give Douglas more time for a crime that he said was
'deeply troubling.' Douglas pleaded no contest on September 4th to the
abuse charge, admitting that he raped the corpse of Karen Range in
August of 1982. Range has been murdered by David Steffens earlier that
day.
Semen
found on the Range's body never matched Steffens and it remained a
mystery as to who it belonged to until Douglas was arrested on drug
charges and his DNA was put into a database, where it matched the
sample taken from Range. Douglas worked at the morgue from 1972 to 1992
and says he may have abused as many as three to four other women, but
says he can't remember specific names, ages or even races, due to his
drug and alcohol problems.
Steffens is now appealing his murder
conviction due to the Douglas case. A judge hasn't been named yet.
Douglas plans to appeal his sentence as well.

The best part of the NFL, condensed for your pleasure
Apparantly there will be an AC/DC edition of Rock Band Much like Guitar Hero Aerosmith but available at Wal-Mart only. Really if you think about it, that's pretty much where you can find AC/DC's core audience. Sorry it's the truth. And this is another example of AC/DC blocking individual song sales (they boycotted iTunes earlier this month), making you buy the whole can of suck rather than their two popular songs.
Eva Longoria set to play Wasp in the Avengers movie? If you've seen Iron Man (out on DVD & Blu-Ray today) and Hulk, you know the Avengers movie is coming. And it should be awesome. Should be interesting to see if they include the fact that she is constantly the victim of spousal abuse.

I forgot to put this in my last post. Mega Man 9 is coming very soon to the 360 and PS3, and I think it's already out for the Wii. In each digital store respectively.
For those who don't know, Capcom went back to the roots of the series this time, that's right 8-bit style. They even went as far to create some horrible artwork a la Mega Man 1. Be sure to check it out if you're looking for that classic game fix.
