How long must we deal with incompetence on every level in this city, from street cars, to Adam Dunn, to Ahmad Brooks. it's a full time job to be a fan and have to deal with this constant barrage of garbage

I think the draft for the Bengals was typical of the Bengals under Marvin Lewis, one good pick followed by one bad pick. Keith Rivers was a superb pick. i think he will be an excellent football player and team leader. Jerome Simpson, while he may turn out to be a find, i believe we had other "pressing" needs and he could have been had later. Pat Sims was a fine pickup, fills a definite need, but then to go with Andre Caldwell was a mystery to me. Anthony Collins fills a need for the long term and was a nice, solid pick. Jason Shirley, please, are you kidding me? I thought we were trying to change our image? The kid better be an upstanding citizen or its same old same old. the sixth round picks seemed like they were made to make up for Shirley, and the seventh round is what it is, time to take a chance on some local kids. All in all, i would give the draft a C because for every solid pick, there was a questionable pick, and isn't that what Marvin Lewis and these Bengals are all about?
