How does that Kool Aid taste now?
2 and 14 Maybe
Not that I am really going out on a limb here, but this may even be a stretch.
I have to say that in all my years of being a Bengals fan I do not ever remember going into the season with so much negativity.
Based on todays game all of the negativity is certainly justified. This team / franchise is pathetic and we are in for a very long season.
On another note I had to turn off the pregame the second that Mo asked Doc about keeping Willie as a backup. Doc askes very sarcastically if Mo had seen Willie play in the preseason. My question to that **** doc is did you see anyone of the OL players play worth a damn this preseason and / or in the opener.
Since Cutler will not post a comment I will post it inmy blog
As I was reading the following blog post by Alan Cutler yesterday I thought that I would add my 2 cents worth as a comment to his post. Apparently since I disagreed with his opinion and his lack of credible stats to back up his argument he declined to make my comment public. First of all Cutler is the only host I know of that your comments will not immediatly be made pubic in his blog. I guess this has to do with his inablility to handle a differing opinion. Or maybe it has to do with the fact that most people have no use for him and his opinions so people say bad things in his blog so this is his way of preempting his blog.
Either way MY OPINION is that if you are going to blog or comment in a public manner you should damn well be able to handle some criticism. That being said here is alink to the blog post and my comments to this blog.

My comment has to do with the comparison of Jr and Posada. How anyone in their right mind can compare a healthy Jr to a injured (on the DL) Posada and draw conclusions form this is beyond me. Had Cutler compared JR and Greg Maddox I probably would have agreed, but to compare an injured player who last year when not injured batted .338 versus Jr who batted 60 point less to me is ridiculous.
If the sole purpose is to compare the managers position as to whether or not to play each player is one thing, but when one is injured I think that it is a no brainer that you sit him or put him on the DL. To say that this is Father Time cathcing up with Posada is just stupid. By the way Posada has had this injury all year.
So let me ask anyone who reads this. Would you have posted my comments were it your blog?
For the record I posted my commnet on Cutlers blog yesterday around noon.
6 Major Travesties in Sports
Rarely do I agree with almost every poit of article, but his is awesome. I love the points on ND football and ESPN the most. It is a quick, funny read. Not to mention it is taken from a financila website.

How does Rome do it?????????????
I am amazed that Jim Rome can take up 15 hours of radio time a week and say absolutely nothing. At one time I actually thought that his show was somewhat entertaining. This was when I was listening to it once a week at most, but since the beginning of the year I have worked from home and I have listened to it 3 to 4 times a week.
That being said he is playing the same tired takes that he was playing 5 years ago. If it were not for movie outtakes and 80's music there would be at least 20 to 30 minutes of dead air each day. It is the exact same show everyday with almost the exact same dialogue each day. Apparently this is what syndicated radio has turned into because it is the exact same thing on ESPN radio day after day.
I am actually looking forward to the next two weeks when Rome will be on vacations and they will have some different takes on how to make the mid day a little but more entertaining!!
