I want to wish the Greatest Red ever a HAPPY BIRTHDAY...PETE ROSE today he turns 67. Pete was my idle growing up.I remember polaying high school baseball back in the late 70's standing up kinda of like you power hitters did , bench perze to name a couple and i could not hit.Someone took me a side and told me to try to bend over like pete and give it a try so I did and wow I started hitting.I kow lot of people have knocked Pete for what he did and I know he was wrong but he needs to be in the Hall of Fame for what he did on the field.
