    Colerain Firefighters

I had a blast at the benefit for the Colerain Firefighters last night. I know they raised a good chunk of change. It was $10 to get in, they got a percentage for every drink sold(and there were lots of them), and they had split the pot and raffle baskets. The benefit was held at Metropolis. As you can see from my pictures, they had undies hanging above the bar. This caused quite a debate in my group. My friend insist that they are clean and the rest of us insist that they are from past patrons. So I posted a poll question. It also made me wonder if she carries around a spare pair... intriguing.

The night was full of laughter and good times. It became solemn when Robin Broxterman's mother came out to do split the pot. I wanted to cry and hug the her. Instead we applauded her. I hope they raised some money to help with the children that Robin left behind. Thank you to all the people who put their lives on the line for me and my family without thinking twice. It takes a special person to do that every day.

I'm glad it was a success! I was born & raised in Colerain and would have gone if it wasn't out of town for me on a Tuesday night.
I too want to thank all the firefighters, police, & troops that keep us safe every day!
