Friday, Sept. 5 (8PM) CCAT Comedy Show - Once again, I've been asked to be a part of the Center for Chemical Addiction Treatment (CCAT) Comedy Jam.  This event is for a great cause and will be held again at the Cincinnati Art Museum.  Also on the bill are good friends Geoff Tate, Wix, and Will Hardesty.  For more info on this show, check out www.ccatsober.org or call 513.381.6772.  

TUESDAY, SEPT. 9 (8 PM) - COMEDY CENTRAL EVENT AT GO BANANAS IN CINCINNATI - As many of you know, Mitch Hedberg passed away in 2005.  The impact he left on his fans and fellow comedians cannot be measured.  Just before his passing, Mitch was recording material for a new CD, "Do You Believe in Gosh?"  Comedy Central has put together this final CD for Mitch and will be releasing it on Sept 9.  To celebrate, Comedy Central is holding "Mitch Across America".  There will be shows in New York, Minneapolis, Seattle, Austin, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati.  I am heading up the Cincinnati show and have put together an all-star lineup.  The show will be recorded for Comedy Central to use on their website and who knows what else.  There will be CD give-aways and all sorts of fun stuff.  Other comics include:

• Will Hardesty - Winner of San Francisco Comedy Competition

Sunday, Oct. 5 - 1st Annual Gary Sneed Memorial Golf Outing -  My dad was an amazing person.  He was taken from us way too soon earlier this year after battling cancer for three months.  There isn't a day that goes by that something doesn't remind me of him.  The last couple of years, my family has held a golf outing called the Mitchell Open, put together by my cousin, Kevin Mitchell.  This year, we've changed the name to honor my father and are turning it into a legitmate tournament.  There will be prizes for individuals and the winning teams, door prizes, silent auction items, a dinner, t-shirts for all, and new stuff is being added everyday.  All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society and the "Whom Shall I Send?" fund started in my dad's name.  It's going to be held at the golf center at Kings Island in Cincinnati.  Space is limited, but we need golfers (individuals or foursomes), volunteers, donations, and door prizes.  If you would like to help out this event in ANY way, please email me directly at josh@joshsneed.com.  Thanks in advance, we hope this event will grow into something bigger each year.
