Why in the hell is Jeremy Alfelt allowed to wear number 41. I know Joes number is not OFFICIALLY retired but come on... They make a big deal out of honoring Joe and that number on opening day and in the second game of the season a sub par relief pitcher can wear it... I dont like it!!!!!!

there aren't a lot of numbers left... 12 different people have worn 41 since joe did (and joe only wore that number for 5 years) including jesus sanchez, brad pennington and jerry ruess
