Is TJ Alvin Harper in waiting?
    Ludwig At Larger
T.J. is going to demand big bucks in the $5 million-per-year range, and - in the Bengals' eyes - that's way, Way, WAY too expensive for a No. 2 receiver.

    Jasper transfers
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky basketball player Derrick Jasper, a 6-6 native of Paso
Robles, Calif, who has played two seasons in Lexington, has asked for his
release from the Wildcats, citing a desire to play closer to home as the reason
    for his decision

    I can't wait
This is a sports gift....Laker vs Celtics...first time since 1987!
I was a junior at Butler in '87. My roommate, Brent Maurer, had posters of Bird, McHale and Parish on his side of the room.
Images of Bird, Magic, and Jack Nicholson are dancing in my head. The goggles of Kurt Rambis....the long arms of Kevin McHale. "I Love LA"
    "Beat LA....Beat LA"
I just had about 10 topics dropped in my lap for this week. It's NBA heaven.

Snake Eyes: Las Vegas evens series with Clones

*Thanks to John Hammel, Voice/Media Relations Director and the Clones this past week. We had a Clones guest Wed-Thur-Fri from Las Vegas to preview the Kelly Cup Finals.

    Marvin overrated
    ESPN
In Cincinnati, Lewis has a record of 42-38. But he's only 16-24 against teams with a record of .500 or better. He's 26-14 against teams with a losing record. Last season, the Bengals beat only two teams that finished with a winning record and only one of them, the Tennessee Titans, squeaked into the postseason.
So, why all the gushing over Marvin Lewis? He's a good guy who's good with the media. But as a head coach, he's overrated.

Don't try it Lance. No coach in the league has had to endure the the injuries to high draft choices and off the field problems as this guy. Pollack, Perry, Irons, Henry, Thurman, the linebackers last year, Willie, Levi, Tab Perry, Rudi, Carson, and on and on. What team could survive that? This team will turn this around. Yes, Marvin has not put the consistent winner on the field that we all want. You have to agree that this frachise is much more competitive than pre Marvin. The team will continue to grow.

It's not often that I disagree with you but I think the Bengals are on the rise.

Its too bad Jasper is leaving the Cats. He ignited this team when the season was looking bleak after he returned from injury. His great play doesnt show in his stats but he was a key part of the UK bball team. UK now has at point guard incoming frosh DeAndre Liggins, who may not be eligible because of poor test scores, or timid Michael Porter.

The Man Crush 8 pic is hilarious. I don't know who #88 for the Bengals is though.
