UK QB recruit update...Go Hounds!
Carmel HS QB Morgan Newton threw two TD's and ran 71 yards for a TD as #1 Carmel beat #2 Center Grove 33-32 last night in front of nearly 7,000 fans last night.
The UK recruit was 12 of 17 passing for 145 yards and an interception.
Down 7, with no timeouts and facing 4th and 1 with :33 remaining he fumbled on Center Grove's 8-yard line.  
The ball bounced off several players and was scooped up by one of Newton's teammate who ran in the for the score. Carmel was going to kick the PAT to force OT when Center Grove called timeout. Carmel then decided to end it...went for two and won the game. Go Hounds.
