Monday, May 5, 2008, 08:09 AM EST [General]

I would love to compile the most extensive, most complete, and most ridiculous list of the dumbest sports injuries ever.......Feel free to help and add 1 or 2 that you think could be the top.  I am trying to find some that are not the regulars....ex. Gus Ferrotte, etc.....Lets see what we can come up with.

    On the flip side......

I just heard Marvins comments which basically said.....If Chad wants to sit out then he should.  I appreciate how the Bengals are sticking with what they say.  Although I am in favor of this trade with Washington, I like the way the Bengals have said either play for us or sit out, no other options because it attempts to set a precedent that does not reward ignorant behavior!!  Chad has lied to this city by saying in the past that he wouldn't do what T.O. did because he is not that kind of person.  Well, SURPRISE....he is.  We didn't stop being fans, Chad stopped being Chad and for that I don't care whether he sits out or goes.......I WAS a big Chad fan....unfortunately, those days are past!

If this trade of Chad is possible.....

This deal HAS to happen!!!  If you go by the draft gurus ideas, which ofcourse are not definite, this would put us in position to take Ellis at 9 and the D end from Clemson at 22.  That would give us the second best D tackle and second best D end in the draft.  We take an Offensive lineman, hopefully tackle and we could pick up a servicable reciever in the 3rd round or even later.  That is 4 players who could make a difference in the first 3 rounds.  TJ can be a 1, Gabriel has been a 2 in the past (in Oakland, they weren't good but didn't have a QB), and IF Chapman can stay healthy we have a decent recieving core.  Even without Chad, as long as we have Carson Palmer throwin the ball we will have a good offense.  MIKE BROWN, I know its a hit but PLEASE take this deal!!!!!

    I imagine we've heard enough about Chad...but...

As I have been listening to 1530 and watching the reports on ESPN it is becoming evident that even those that are paid to talk about Chad are getting sick of talking about him.  However, we have to be honest with ourselves and say that from a TALENT standpoint we are NOT a better team without Chad on the field.  Although he is under contract for 3 more years and we keep saying just force him to sit himself out we are lying to ourselves if we think we will be a better team on the field.  We can all agree that we're sick of his publicity starvation and his sub-par maturity level.  He is not as much making the Bengals look silly anymore as he is making himself look like a fool now.  As an organization I hope that the powers that be are already attempting to address this situation right now.  I say HOPE because this is not an organization that is prone to encouraging action from the front office.  Gob bless the faithful fans of this town that have stuck this out.  We have been through more than people who spend $1,000 + deserve to be put through.  WHODEY forever!
