REMEMBER WHEN MY BLOG WAS GOOD?
Sorry it sucks right now.  Life has gotten in the way and I haven't had the chance to put much on it.  I suck.  I'll have some crap up tonight.  Some of it might be interesting, though I wouldn't count on it.  I'm still compiling stuff for the Mo Egger Clearance sale and when Chuges gets me the camera, we'll have "Moderately Hot Chicks of Paul Brown Stadium."  In the meantime, enjoy my favorite Bengals blog, which captures the frustration we're feeling right now, and Joanna Krupa and Krystall Forscutt.

    MONDAY MAGIC.
-I'm not sure which I want back more, the three hours spent watching the Bengals/Saints or the nearly four hours spent yesterday watching the Reds.

-Doesn't it seem like we're settling into one of either two extremes? I'm getting e-mails from people vowing to not renew their tickets, looking for another team, and who claim to be embarassed to be a Bengals fan. I've also heard many on Sunday Morning SportsTalk and Alan's show this morning who fall into the "hey we're gonna be fine, no reason to panic, there were too many injuries, we're fine, Who-Dey!" How can one take either stance?

-7:25 this morning, caller Reggie to the Cut-man, the first one this season to blame the media. Glad we got that out of the way early.

-Would you really be stunned if Marvin Lewis resigned? Remember the look Coslet had on his face during his final game in 2000 in Baltimore. Marvin had that look Saturday night.

-Didn't know the Bengals moved to China.

-Why on earth would you allow Johnny Cueto to throw another pitch this season?

-How tremendous was the US basketball team after winning the gold? Shaking Doug Collins' hand? Each one of them giving Coach K their medals? Just awesome. So was this.

-Can you think of anything worse than attending a political convention?

Mo- I attended something worse than a political convention on SATURDAY- the Bengals-Saints game. There was a fight between Bengals fans in our section that resulted in 8-10 people being thrown out of the stadium and one guy getting his ARSE handed to him on a silver platter. All while an 8-10 year old kid in the row in front of the fight looked on in FEAR as his father tried to get him out of the way.

I'm glad I didn't take my son to the game because in my 15+ experiences at PBS @ Bengals games, something like that always seems to happen. Even with BEER @ $7 a bottle the amount of 'drunks' is mind boggling. I'm all about going out and having a couple of brews and a good time but I just can't see bringing my son to a Bengals game and putting him in that environment.
