THURSDAY THOUGHTS
-The Bengals have a lot of issues.  Know what's not high on the list of them?  Chad Johnson saying he's going to kiss the Cowboys star.  I hope he does.  I actually like a lot of Chad did yesterday.

-It's interesting to me.  UC is down to their third, and if you make Ben Mauk part of the equation, their fourth quarterback.  Yet I get no sense that anyone is panicking.  No sense that whomever plays will be unprepared to play. They may not win, but it won't be because the quarterback wasn't ready.  The Bengals played with a backup who's been part of the system for more than a year and the TV announcers were talking about how unprepared he was to play.  Carson ain't ready, and it's apocolyptic.  UC's QB isn't ready and they forge ahead.  Interesting.

-Walt Jocketty kinda shot down the notion of moving the GABP fences out last night with Doc.  Yeah, why would you listen to Aaron Harang?

-There are fewer players I like as much as Shane Victorino, and Doc mentioning him in his column today had me salivating.  But Philly ain't trading him here.

-Man pays $10,000 for a date with Maria Sharapova?  The economy is fine.

-Know who else I like?  James Loney.  All of a sudden, the Cubs face a must win.  Can you imagine that fan base if they go out early? 

-Some people take fantasy football waaaaay too seriously.  This would be one of them.

-My man Josh Sneed has his new CD out, and is holding a very cool golf tournament on Sunday.  He'll hang out with me in studio in the last hour of the show.

-Brian Gregory actually realized that Mickey Perry occupies a spot on his roster.  Good to know the coach is finally paying attention.

-Another hot Republican!  Does anybody actually watch politcal debates for anything other than comedic value?

-I just loves me some Anne Hathaway.  Even moreso now that she's dating a felon.
