TONY ROMO SETTLED FOR THE SECOND HOTTEST SIMPSON
There will of course be lots of talk during the Bengals game about Tony Romo's girlfriend Jessica Simpson. She may even be at the game. I've never really been a huge fan. In fact, I contend she's the second hottest Simpson sister. Since Jessica will get all the run this weekend, I'm giving Ashlee Simpson her due. Ashlee also celebrated a birthday on Friday, though she likely didn't have to do it in Huntington.

COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS MIGHT MAKE TOMORROW BEARABLE
The Browns don't have cheerleaders. The Giants don't have cheerleaders. You may have heard, the Cowboys do. Which is why I can tolerate them a heck of a lot more than the Bengals last two opponents. Brooke is my favorite.

COOPER WINS!
Congratulations to the Cooper Jags, our adopted team for Kentucky. They picked up their first win in school history last night, beating Gallatin County 21-14. If there's any justice, they are Lance's high school team of the week.
Our Ohio and Indiana teams didn't fare so well....our Mt Healthy Owls blew a 17-0 lead and fell to Norwood 31-24. The Owls are 2-5. In Indiana, our Lawrenceburg Tigers were clobberd by East Central 46-8, suffering their first loss of the season. Lawrenceburg is 6-0.

emfzMy nephew plays on the Jag's (WR starting but plays various spots in special teams and occasional "D" sightings....THEY'RE NOT DEEP) and per him, the team is just loving it! they had so much fun since the game had contained competition. every game before friday was blow outs and scrub points in the 4th quarter. they, as a team, kept their heads up during all this. hell, last friday, boone had about 30 points before teh 2nd quarter had ended. and then they walk into a win like this and it makes everything seem worth while. the best news is they have a lot of juniors playing, so there is hope next season. COOPER's OFF THE POOPER!!!!!! go JAGS! PS - you picked them, you're driving the bandwangon - but have you been to a game? maybe "we" (my nephew) can invite you to one.
