Hi there.  Welcome to the live blog from BengalsLine.  Fewer things could be as exciting as a blog from a remote radio show.

    8:00

The explanation for the smile is amazing.  The coach and Chad Johnson have a cute little thing.  Marvin tells him when he feels like cracking he should smile.  So Chad told him to smile.  In 31 years, this is that is the single dumbest thing I've ever heard.  And with that, I wish you a good night.

The excuse for Marvin being a terrible clock manager is that he's a defensive guy, according to Lap.

Watching James Loney hit is fun.

They are talking about animal fat in Levi Jones' knees.  I'm drinking beer.

    Eric Karros has great hair.

Brad:  "This is the best 0-6 team in Bengals history."  The fact that is even being discussed is amazing.

    7:00

Doc asks Lap if he thinks the NFL would ever step in and force Mike Brown to make changes.  Lap fights off the urge to laugh at Doc.

Jessica Simpson's mic technique is more interesting than the Bengals.

Marvin:  "What we're doing isn't working."  Marvin is nothing if not insightful.

Marvin says he has not talked to Carson yet.  'Cause, you know, why would you wanna talk to him?

Marvin says he can't control the last 18 years.  Is it ironic the same man who was handing out t-shirts with "Now" printed on them was pleading for patience today?

Marvin Lewis is with us on the phone!  And the crowd goes crazy!  Actually, no, people are carrying on in conversation without batting an eye.

    6:00

Ben says he'll bring is Super Bowl ring next time he comes to the show.  He should show his teammates so they can see what one looks like.  Maybe he can explain what the Super Bowl is to them.

Doc and Lap are arguing about how important the quarterback is to the Bengals offense.  I would love for this to come to blows.

Ben reflects on his days with the Colts..."Coach Dungy has total control and backing of ownership."  Hmmmm.  And he mentions their General Manager.  Hmmm.

Ben says the Bengals are a confident team.  Confident in what?  Their helmets fitting?  The bus not breaking down on the way to the stadium?  The footballs being inflated?

At what point do the "Believe In Now" billboards come down?

Huge crowd in the house.  By huge I mean not really.

Lap:  Tailor stuff to Ryan Fitzpatrick's strengths....run some spread.  I actually kinda like the idea, but at this point, does it matter?

Greetings from Dickmann's.  We're not exactly in a celebretory mood.  Ben Utecht is our guest.  Who Dey!

The only thing that could surpass this blogging experience for you would be if you could sit in and blog during the "Mutual Fund Hour" on Saturday. We're talkin' web-hit city man.

Blogging for Bengals Line has got to be brutal. Love the Simpson picture. This is the one time I wish I were proficient in photoshop.
