Chambers still questionable
Chambers (ankle) could be available for Week 7 at Buffalo, the San Diego North County Times reports. Chambers' availability will not be determined until much later in the
week, but head coach Norv Turner said on Monday that Chambers is
"making progress."

LT's toe getting back to normal
Tomlinson says that his toe felt the best it has all season during
Sunday night's Week 6 game against the Patriots, the San Diego
Union-Tribune reports. "It was the best my toe had felt since I hurt it," Tomlinson said.
"I've said all along it's getting better. The great thing about it is
it never was getting worse." Still, Tomlinson is averaging only 67.5
yards rushing per game and 3.7 yards per carry. "We need to run the
ball better," Tomlinson said of the team's pedestrian rushing stats so
far this season. "We're not very good at running the ball." Look for
the running game to improve as the season goes along as long as LT does
not suffer a setback with the toe.

Willie Parker back at the right time....against the Bengals
Coach Mike Tomlin said that Parker (knee) practiced on Monday and will return to the lineup in Week 7. "Willie Parker practiced yesterday (Monday)," Tomlin said. "He's just
going to continue to get better." The Steelers top back faces a nice
matchup in Cincinnati, where he's seen plenty of success in the last
three years. There's a chance Mewelde Moore could take some rushing
attempts away from Parker, given Moore's success in Jacksonville and
the team not wanting to overwork Parker in his first game in nearly a
month.

Looks like Kitna could be out for the season
The Lions have decided that they will place Kitna (back) on injured
reserve - though Kitna is resisting that move - if they are unable to
trade him, according to MLive.com. This seems to be a very, very strange situation. The Lions are refusing
to release any information regarding Kitna's health, even after he had
an MRI and saw a spine specialist. Also, Kitna continues to maintain
that he will be able to play again this season. Former Lions and
current 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz is reportedly trying to
convince San Francisco that Kitna would fix their problems under
center. This situation is far from settled and there figures to be a
few more twists before it is resolved.

Dallas offense takes another blow....Felix Jones out 2-4 weeks
Jones is out 2-4 weeks with a partially torn left hamstring, according to ESPN. Not only did the Cowboys suffer the loss to the Cardinals Sunday, they
also lost their star quarterback and second-best runner for up to a
month. Jones' game is built on speed and cutting, so there may also be
some "get up to speed" time when he does return. He may only have value
the final 4-6 weeks of the season, and as of now that's still going to
be as the clear backup to Marian Barber.

T-Gon waiting on trade word
TE Tony Gonzalez
practiced with the Chiefs for what could be the last time Monday and
then went home to await word on whether he's been traded. Several teams
are thought to be interested in the nine-time Pro Bowl tight end,
including Buffalo, Philadelphia and the New York Giants. But a Chiefs
spokesman who asked not to be identified because talks were still
ongoing told The Associated Press that no deal was pending. The trade
deadline is 4 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.

Top 10 Waiver Claims for Week 7
Fox Sports
10. Patrick Cobbs, RB, Miami (Available 99.9 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
Totaling just 19 yards in the first four games, Cobbs gained 138 yards and a touchdown on three receptions against Houston. This included an 80-yard scoring reception. Cobbs had amassed only 67 yards in his first two seasons with Miami. Starting fantasy running backs Michael Turner, Brian Westbrook, Edgerrin James and Maurice Jones-Drew have Week 7 byes. Their owners may be desperate for a running back who is available on the waiver wire.
9. New York Jets D/ST (Available 44.8 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
The Jets allowed just 14 points, had five sacks and forced one turnover against winless Cincinnati last game. New York faces another dismal offense against the Raiders, which ranks in the bottom quarter in scoring points. It managed to score only three points against New Orleans last game. The Jets have a solid chance to force turnovers, garner sacks and score possible defensive touchdowns against an inexperienced quarterback.
8. Rob Bironas, K, Tennessee (Available 36.3 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
More than a fifth of leagues dropped Bironas before Tennessee's Week 6 bye. This provides an excellent chance for other owners to claim one of the league's top kickers. He had kicked eight field goals and 13 extra points in the first five games.
7. Ricky Williams, RB, Miami (Available 53.4 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
He's averaged only 11.6 carries and two receptions in Miami's first five games. Consequently, Williams is averaging only 55 total yards per game. He didn't score his first touchdown until last contest when he also combined for 50 yards. He's a longshot to produce for owners, but may provide relief for owners who are dealing with a bye week.
6. Harry Douglas, WR, Atlanta (Available 99.7 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
He's only a rookie, but Douglas had his breakout game as an NFL wideout. He caught five passes for 96 yards, including a 47-yard reception when he nearly scored. Atlanta has a bye week next, but Douglas' role could be increased as rookie quarterback Matt Ryan continues to dramatically improve.
5. Brad Johnson, QB, Dallas (Available 99.7 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
Romo's owners will likely need a starting fantasy quarterback for at least three games. In his 17-year career, Johnson has clinched career highs of 4,005 yards (1999) and 26 touchdowns (2003). However, his fantasy prospects aren't high. He threw for zero touchdowns in 2007 as a backup with Dallas and passed for only nine scores with 15 interceptions in 2006 with Minnesota. But he could be serviceable for owners with few options and average 200 passing yards with 1-2 touchdowns per game.
4. Dominic Rhodes, RB, Indianapolis (Available 69.3 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
If Addai misses any games with a hamstring injury, his backup Rhodes will be Indy's featured back. When Addai left in the first quarter, Rhodes ran for 73 yards and one score in replacing him. He's a fantasy starter in Indy's high-powered offense if Addai is out next game against Green Bay.
3. Steve Breaston, WR, Arizona (Available 57 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
If Anquan Boldin misses any more games, Breaston has proved he can be a competent replacement. He caught eight passes for 102 yards and one score against Dallas after catching seven passes for 77 yards in Week 5. Even if Boldin returns in Week 8 after Arizona's Week 7 bye, Breaston has shown he has fantasy value as a No. 3 wideout. He caught nine passes for 122 yards against the Jets in Week 4 when Boldin played for nearly the entire game.
2. Ryan Torain, RB, Denver (Available 90.1 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
In a change of course from the start of this season, Denver's Mike Shanahan elected to use a Denver running back full-time. Pittman received the call to be Denver's featured back this game and was productive, rushing for 109 yards for a 5.5 average and gaining 16 yards on three receptions.
However, Torain is considered to have the best combination of size, power, speed and rushing skills of any runner on Denver's roster. The rookie will reportedly be ready after Denver's Week 8 bye, according to the Denver Post. Claim him now with the expectation that he'll be Denver's featured back in Week 9. He's expected to practice this week, so it may even be possible he returns Monday night against New England.
1. Warrick Dunn, RB, Tampa Bay (Available 46.7 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
Dunn, not Earnest Graham, was Tampa Bay's featured running back against Carolina. Dunn ran for 115 yards on 22 carries to average a robust 5.2 yards per carry. He also caught three passes for 18 yards, displaying his solid receiving skills. Dunn also totaled 27 carries in Weeks 4 and 5, showing he will at least be used as part of a committee with Graham. Of note, Graham had just five carries for 11 yards, though he scored a touchdown and caught two passes for 47 yards.
