Detroit's QB situation still not great
Orlovsky is "leaning" towards not undergoing surgery on his broken right thumb, according to the Detroit Free Press. Even if Orlovsky is able to avoid surgery he's expected to miss, at the minimum, a couple more weeks. Detroit has yet to name a starter for this week's match-up, and they won't until Sunday, but it's likely that Daunte Culpepper will get his second start under center.
*************************
Selvin Young doubtful for Sunday
Young (groin) did not practice on Monday, the Rocky Mountain News reports. With the signing of Tatum Bell, the team will probably not be as quick to force Young back into action, which should allow Bell time to get some carries early on.

Fantasy Stockwatch for Week 11
Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore - UP
You might be a little leery about starting Flacco in a standard-scoring league, especially with his upcoming schedule, including the Giants, Eagles, Redskins and Steelers. But Flacco has played great the past four games, averaging 201 passing yards with seven total touchdowns and no interceptions. He has validated owners who took him in a keeper league that the rookie can be useful next season. And when the matchup is right this season, with games remaining against Cincinnati, Dallas and Jacksonville, he can be a No. 1 Fantasy option if he continues to play at this level.
Jake Delhomme, QB, Carolina - DOWN
You should be worried when Delhomme plays at Atlanta in Week 12, at Green Bay in Week 13, at the Giants in Week 16 and at the Saints in Week 17, and it's not because these are tough pass defenses. Delhomme has been awful on the road this year, including last week at Oakland when he passed for 72 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions. At home, Delhomme has 1,101 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions in five games. On the road, Delhomme has 752 yards, two touchdowns and seven interceptions in four games. Start him at home against Detroit this week, Tampa Bay in Week 14 and Denver in Week 15. But it's questionable if he can play well when he's away from Carolina.
Jay Cutler, QB, Denver - UP
Cutler is going to be great over the final seven games of the season, and he has good matchups against Atlanta, Oakland, the Jets, Kansas City, Buffalo and San Diego. The Broncos are going to struggle to run the ball with injuries to Michael Pittman, Andre Hall, Ryan Torain and Selvin Young, and they still can't play defense. That means Cutler will be doing plenty of passing. He has attempted 88 passes the past two weeks against Miami and Cleveland, and with the pass defenses he's going to face, look for Cutler and his receivers to have a big finish to the season.
Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh - DOWN
This shoulder injury has ruined Big Ben's season, and it's hard to trust him as a No. 1 Fantasy option right now. He has one touchdown and eight interceptions in his past three games against the Giants, Washington and Indianapolis. Granted, those are three of the best pass defenses in the NFL, and Roethlisberger has a better schedule coming up with San Diego, Cincinnati, New England and Dallas in the next four weeks. But if Big Ben doesn't get enough protection and help from Santonio Holmes, it's going to be hard to put him in your lineup on a weekly basis if he continues to play like this.
Ryan Grant, RB, Green Bay - UP
Grant has been a bust the first half of the season, but he's come on lately and should finish the season strong. He has a tough matchup this week against Chicago, but Grant has done well against tough defenses this season. Two of his best games have been against Minnesota, with Grant rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown last week at the Vikings. There's no reason to think Grant can't do the same against the Bears. And when he faces New Orleans, Houston, Jacksonville and Detroit later this year, Grant could be a star. It appears safe to trust him as a starting Fantasy option once again.
Joseph Addai, RB, Indianapolis - DOWN
We'll find out if Addai is worth starting in the Fantasy playoffs with how he plays over the next five weeks. Addai, who has struggled this season and missed two games with a hamstring injury, will face Houston, San Diego, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Detroit heading into Week 16. If he can return to form, great, but right now he's looked bad the past two weeks with 29 carries for 66 yards and no touchdowns against New England and Pittsburgh. Those are tough opponents, but Addai has been a bust this season and is still looking for his first 100-yard game. We'll out if he can rebound in time to help Fantasy owners in the playoffs.
Marques Colston, WR, New Orleans - UP
Take your hand off the panic button and put Colston back in your lineup. He looked like his old self last week against Atlanta with seven catches for 140 yards. While he's not going to post those stats on a weekly basis, he has some good matchups ahead against Kansas City, Atlanta, Chicago and Detroit. And even with tough games against Green Bay, Tampa Bay and Carolina, you can still count on Colston to be productive because he's an elite talent and the Saints are going to keep throwing. Give Colston two thumbs up now that his injured thumb is back to normal.
Chris Chambers, WR, San Diego - DOWN
Chambers had no catches last week against Kansas City and could be in danger of being phased out of the offense. Vincent Jackson has emerged as the best wide receiver in San Diego, and we know Antonio Gates and LaDainian Tomlinson remain huge factors in the passing game. With Malcom Floyd stepping up when Chambers was out with the sprained ankle, it could mean a reduced role for Chambers. Don't do anything drastic like drop Chambers at this point, but you can't start him even when he has a favorable matchup. He started the season with four touchdowns in the first three games, but he's been a non-factor ever since because of the injury and a lack of passes in his direction.
Kellen Winslow, TE, Cleveland - UP
Brady Quinn is going to do wonders for Winslow because Quinn is accurate and doesn't make many throws downfield. It showed last week against Denver when Winslow led the Browns with 10 catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns. It's hard to expect Winslow to play at that level every week, but he could be a candidate for 80 yards and a touchdown every game. Even with the bad start to his season with poor play, the staph infection and the suspension, Winslow is still the No. 7 tight end in a standard-scoring league. Because of Quinn, Winslow could finish the season at No. 1 if he continues to play at this level.
Braylon Edwards, WR, Cleveland - DOWN
While Quinn will be good for Winslow, he appears to be a bad fit for Edwards, who had just one catch for 15 yards last week against Denver. Quinn didn't attempt many throws downfield, which is Edward's strength. He will play better than he did against the Broncos, but Fantasy owners are going to struggle to trust Edwards again. He had started to play well with 15 catches for 362 yards and two touchdowns in the four games prior to Week 10. But he's been a bust this season and looks like he could finish the way he started. Hopefully, Quinn can get him the ball, but the Denver game was not a good start.

Top 10 Waiver Claims
Fox Sports
10. Koren Robinson, WR, Seattle (Available 97.8 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
He has totaled 13 receptions in the past three games and has scored in two straight contests. Robinson has become Seattle's best fantasy wide receiver, and his value will increase if Matt Hasselbeck returns from a back injury.
9. Carolina D/ST (Available 65.6 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
The Panthers rank as the NFL's second-best scoring defense, while the Lions rate as the league's fifth-worst scoring offense. Carolina has already yielded 10 points or fewer in four contests this season, including a shutout in Week 5. Detroit also ranks in the bottom quarter in allowing interceptions (10) and has yielded the most sacks (34) entering Monday night's game.
8. Kevin Boss, Todd Heap and Dustin Keller, TEs, New York Giants/Baltimore/New York Jets (Available 68.8, 58.7, and 86.2 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
Boss has scored in three straight games after compiling season highs of six receptions for 69 yards against Philadelphia last game. Boss is a solid choice to remain productive with the talented Eli Manning at the helm and the Giants' strong running game leaving him open on play action at times.
After failing to exceed 41 receiving yards or score in his first eight games, Heap rebounded with season highs of five receptions for 58 yards and two scores last contest. His strong track record makes him an enticing pickup, especially with Joe Flacco's rapid progress.
Keller recorded his first career 100-yard receiving game and scored his third touchdown. Brett Favre utilizes the tight end, so he can help the rookie produce more solid games.
7. Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore (Available 76.7 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
Despite rookie quarterbacks having a poor track record of being fantasy starters, this year's class has succeeded where many others haven't. In addition to Matt Ryan's early success, Flacco has posted recent solid stats to warrant starting at quarterback. He's thrown two touchdown passes in each of the last two contests and has totaled two scores in each of the last three games. The Giants and Eagles present tough matchups for the next two games, but Cincinnati is a favorable foe in Week 13.
6. Malcom Floyd, WR, San Diego (Available 98.5 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
As Chris Chambers' role lessens with San Diego, Floyd's involvement in the passing offense has increased. He's scored in three of the last four contests, including Week 10 when he caught four passes for 76 yards and a score. Of note, Chambers went catchless against Kansas City.
5. Brady Quinn, QB, Cleveland (Available 75.9 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
He passed for 239 yards and two touchdowns against Denver in his first NFL start. With a solid offensive line and playmakers at receiver, Quinn has the potential to post stats worthy of a fantasy starter, especially against favorable defenses like Houston in Week 12 and Cincinnati in Week 16.
4. Justin Gage, Brandon Jones and Bo Scaife, WRs/TE, Tennessee (Available 93.6, 99.4 and 30.9 percent of FOX Sports leagues) Four of Tennessee's next five foes rank in the bottom 11 in allowing passing yards or scores: Jacksonville (Week 11), Detroit (Week 13), Cleveland (Week 14) and Houston (Week 15).
Gage has battled injuries this season but has shown he can be productive. He caught four passes for 47 yards and a score against Chicago last game.
Jones compiled season highs of eight receptions for 82 yards against the Bears, indicating he can contribute in fantasy if given the chance.
Scaife leads all Tennessee receivers with 42 receptions for 422 yards and is tied for the most receiving scores (2) on the team. He led all Titans with 10 receptions and gained 78 yards and a score in Week 10 against Chicago.
3. Michael Jenkins, WR, Atlanta (Available 86 percent of FOX Sports leagues) After going scoreless in six straight games after the opener, Jenkins rebounded to score twice in Week 9 and posted season highs of six receptions and 72 yards last game. Atlanta faces several shaky pass defenses for the remainder of the season. The Falcons meet three pass defenses that rank in the bottom third in yards or touchdowns (Denver in Week 11, New Orleans in Week 14 and St. Louis in Week 17).
2. BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Peyton Hillis, RBs, New England/Denver (Available 75.8 percent and 98 percent of FOX Sports leagues) Green-Ellis has been the featured back for New England in the past two contests, totaling 41 carries for 162 yards and two scores. He's also scored in four straight contests and has become New England's best fantasy back.
Denver has lost four running backs to season-ending injuries: Anthony Alridge, Andre Hall, Michael Pittman and Ryan Torain. The Denver Post reports that Hillis and Selvin Young will be Denver's running backs against Atlanta. Young is a solid claim as well for future games (available in 53 percent of FOX Sports leagues), but for now, he's battling a groin injury and has missed nearly the last four contests. In addition, P.J. Pope and recently signed Tatum Bell are other candidates to play at running back.
1. Tyler Thigpen and Mark Bradley, QB/WR, Kansas City (Available 91.4 and 98.9 percent of FOX Sports leagues)
Thigpen has become Kansas City's starter in only his second season. He's totaled six touchdowns in his last three contests and has compiled two games with at least 250 passing yards during that span. This includes Week 10's excellent effort of 266 yards and three scores against San Diego. A mobile quarterback, Thigpen also has the capability to add fantasy points via the run, averaging 22 rushing yards in each of the past four contests.
In his last three games since joining the Chiefs, Bradley has been productive as the No. 2 wide receiver with Thigpen at quarterback. He recorded season highs of nine receptions for 81 yards against San Diego and scored his second touchdown in the last three contests.
Boding well for the rest of the season, Kansas City meets questionable pass defenses that rank in the bottom 11 in yards and touchdowns in six of its seven remaining games. Those are New Orleans in Week 11, Oakland in Week 13, Denver in Week 14, San Diego in Week 15, Miami in Week 16 and Cincinnati in Week 17.

Titans wide out suffered receiver on Sunday...is day to day
McCareins suffered a concussion on Sunday, the Tennessean reports. Coach Jeff Fisher stated that McCareins is currently day-to-day and he would have a better idea of McCareins' status after practice on Wednesday.

McFadden still recovering from turf toe...still questionable
Head coach Tom Cable is hopeful that McFadden (toe) can return to the lineup on Sunday against Miami, the Oakland Tribune reports. McFadden is still recovering from turf toe injuries on both feet and noted that he will no longer take pain-killing injections. McFadden said the shot made his injury feel worse last time and he wants no part of that any longer. McFadden's status for Sunday's game will be determined by this week's practices, so hopefully he's able to get on the field and run without pain.

Larry Johnson will be back on the field Sunday
Johnson's one-game suspension is over, and coach Herm Edwards confirmed again Monday that Johnson will play this week, the Kansas City Star reports. Kansas City's offense has undergone a major transformation since Johnson has been out, mostly due to the emergence of Tyler Thigpen in the Chiefs' spread offense. Johnson will still be a major component once he returns, but offensive coordinator Chan Gailey won't stop throwing the ball just because Johnson is back in tow. Against the Saints this week, Johnson is a decent fantasy starter, but we'll hold off on re-crowning him as a No. 1 fantasy back until we see how he looks.

Brian Westbrook "I'm not 100%"
Eagles RB Brian Westbrook, responding to a comment made by coach Andy Reid on Monday, told WPEN-AM in Philadelphia Monday night that he's still battling injuries and took the blame for the team's running woes vs. the Giants in Week 10. Reid had said earlier in the day that Westbrook wasn't at 100 percent, and the stud running back agreed. "There's no question I'm not 100 percent. My goal is to be out there and try to help this team," Westbrook said. "I want to be out there until coach feels I'm not able to help this team anymore. I think I'm still able to help this team win football games. ... The thing about a high-ankle sprain is that it doesn't go away very quickly ... throughout a game, at any point, it can come right back, and that pain can come right back."

Romo isn't healed all the way yet
Sports Illustrated's Peter King reports that Cowboys QB Tony Romo is optimistic that he'll play at Washington in Week 11, but admits that the broken right pinkie finger on his throwing hand still isn't "all the way healed." He's going to have to play with a splint on his hand, which will make throwing the ball more difficult. He also admitted that throwing the ball on 15-yard out routes, a staple in the Cowboys offense, caused him pain. "I don't know where it's exactly going to be, healing-wise, in Washington, but my timing will be fine," Romo is quoted as saying. "I can take the pain. If I've done it once, I can do it again."

Add em / Avoid em for Week 11
Add 'Em
Jerious Norwood, RB, Atlanta
Owned: 56 percent of leagues
Week 10: Had six carries for 17 yards and two catches for 88 yards and a touchdown against New Orleans.
Analysis: Like Ricky Williams, it's a good idea to own the No. 2 running back in a rushing offense, especially when that player gets touches. Norwood shares carries with Michael Turner, and Norwood has scored a touchdown the past two weeks. He also has some favorable matchups ahead against Denver, New Orleans and St. Louis, and if Turner gets hurt, Norwood would become a star. Like Williams, this should probably be a re-add since Norwood was dropped in several leagues this year.
Tyler Thigpen, QB, Kansas City
Owned: 21 percent of leagues
Week 10: Completed 27-of-41 passes for 266 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions at San Diego.
Analysis: We're going to include Chiefs wide receiver Mark Bradley (8 percent) also since both have played well recently. Thigpen has emerged as a No. 1 Fantasy quarterback the past three weeks with seven touchdowns against the Jets, Tampa Bay and Chargers. And Bradley has 18 catches for 188 yards and two touchdowns the past three games while also throwing for a touchdown. The Chiefs passing offense is clicking, and these are two players to own. Kansas City also has a great schedule remaining against New Orleans, Buffalo, Oakland, Denver, San Diego, Miami and Cincinnati.
Brady Quinn, QB, Cleveland
Owned: 64 percent of leagues
Week 10: Completed 23-of-35 passes for 239 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions against Denver.
Analysis: Quinn showed enough in his first start that he could be a starting Fantasy option the rest of this year. He doesn't have a favorable schedule with tough pass defenses ahead in Indianapolis, Tennessee, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, but when he faces Buffalo, Houston and Cincinnati, you can start him. It will help if Kellen Winslow plays like he did against the Broncos and if Braylon Edwards could show consistent production. But Quinn's first game was reason for hope, so pick him up now.
Avoid 'Em
Kerry Collins, QB, Tennessee
Owned: 24 percent of leagues
Week 10: Completed 30-of-41 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions at Chicago.
Analysis: Collins had a great game when his team needed him to make plays, but that was his first game with more than 200 passing yards this season and first game with multiple touchdowns. The Titans want to run, run and run some more with Chris Johnson and LenDale White, so don't expect Collins to do that again. And now that the bye weeks are done, Collins will never start for you even when the matchup is right. There are better Fantasy options out there.
James Hardy, WR, Buffalo
Owned: 13 percent of leagues
Week 10: Had two catches for 21 yards and a touchdown at New England.
Analysis: It's too bad you can't use Hardy at tight end because that's basically what he is. He's a red-zone target who has the chance to catch touchdowns but not produce much more on a regular basis, which is a disappointment because he could be a good receiver if given a chance. He has three games this year with no catches, and the Bills don't keep him on the field enough to help your Fantasy team.
Sidney Rice, WR, Minnesota
Owned: 14 percent of leagues
Week 10: Caught one pass for 3 yards and a touchdown against Green Bay.
Analysis: Rice had the chance to be a sophomore sleeper this year, but injuries and inconsistent play have left him as a reserve option and nothing more. He's not worth owning at this time because the Vikings don't use him enough. He only has two catches his past two games for 11 yards. The two touchdowns over that span are nice, but six Fantasy points aren't going to cut it most weeks.
Others to monitor ...
Matt Hasselbeck, QB, Seattle
Owned: 31 percent of leagues
Week 10: Did not play.
Analysis: Hasselbeck is expected to return in Week 11 after missing the past five games with a back injury. If he plays well against Arizona, Hasselbeck could be worth using down the stretch since Seattle has a favorable schedule with games against Arizona twice, Dallas, New England, St. Louis and the Jets over the final seven weeks, and all have suspect pass defenses. Bobby Engram (37 percent) also could be worth picking up if Hasselbeck returns at 100 percent since Engram is Hasselbeck's favorite target.
Peyton Hillis, RB, Denver
Owned: 9 percent of leagues
Week 10: Had 8 carries for 24 yards at Cleveland.
Analysis: I know we had Hillis as an avoid last week after he had seven catches for 116 yards and a touchdown against Miami in Week 9, but that was before Ryan Torain joined Michael Pittman and Andre Hall as being out for the year. Selvin Young (46 percent) could be worth adding if he returns from a groin injury, but if Young remains out, Hillis could be the starter for the Broncos. That would make him an immediate add, but for now just keep an eye on what happens this week.
Jerry Porter, WR, Jacksonville
Owned: 12 percent of leagues
Week 10: Had two catches for 33 yards and a touchdown at Detroit.
Analysis: There was finally a Porter sighting against the Lions, and he could be a good addition to your Fantasy team down the stretch if Matt Jones (thigh) is out or starts his reported three-game suspension. The same goes for Reggie Williams (15 percent) since David Garrard would need someone to throw to besides tight end Marcedes Lewis. What happens with Jones will determine if you should add Porter or Williams so keep an eye on what develops.
