Any chance of us leaving Dunn in NY?  Alou is out for the season, they have cash and think they can win.  Maybe they want that bat...

Finally he is in!  Of course, he just allowed a hit.  Thanks Corey Hart for flubbing it and turning it into a double...more later...

    Where is E?

Tuesday, July 15, 2008, 10:42 PM EST [General]

I am holed up in Cleveland (no, not by choice, for work) and am sitting in the hotel with a cold one ready to see Edinson hurl in the summer classic.  Well, it's the freakin' sixth inning and still nothing!  He should have started...I just watched Haren pitch.  His numbers aren't even close!  Oh well, maybe they'll bring him in to close or they are saving him for extra innings.  The 'Nati gets no respect!  Also, I am a big Josh Hamilton fan but come on.  I am tired of the ramblings.  Yes, we all know he used to hang with Mr. Brownstone.  Yes, we all knoow he only played in 15 games the previous 4 years.  Yes, the 28 first round derby bombs were nice but he lost!  That's like giving me a pat on the back for winning the first third of a marathon (although if any of you could see me you would know that it has been a while since this boy has run anywhere but the liquor store)! Rashied, I expect to see plenty of pictures of those hotties partying in the Bronx.  Are you watching the game from Steinbrenners box?

Thanks, Bill, it was great, I've never seen anything like that...I was like a little kid. I only wish I could have seen the whole thing, I caught the first half of the parade but I think I saw most of the legends.

haha, you're probably right! The Reds are done, but let's take it one step at a time...The legs have to sweep the Brew Crew, and then after the break be about the business of trading or giving away Arroyo, Dunn and Griffey, Jr. Then play good fast defensive ball with younger energy guys to get to .500 That is a good starting goal for this team and would be a huge momentum swing going into next year. (aaahhh the dreaded words, next year always seems to be in the daily use vocab of Cincy sports fans!)

haha, muffin mania strikes Lot D...I actually need to take a break. Tonight is huge, they have to win these next 2 against the Cubs, which is why I won't be watching. When I was with the kids and did not pay a stitch of attention to the Reds they got the sweep. As soon as I go to the bar, Dunn stands in the box and gets tagged out, makes a force out on a pop single at second, etc...so I am clearly the reason why they lose. No more, it's all about reverse karma...I don't care.

Bill, I thought for sure I could just watch a couple minutes to appease the lady and say, ok, can we turn this thing now...no way, I was all in after Yul's first "etc., etc., etc.," haha! The pic of me leaning on the cop car was nothing special, I was hanging out in Coney Island and the cops were not around so I asked a somebody to snap me.

C-hey, N-hey, D-hey, that never gets old...hey I consider myself open minded and progressive (but conservative with some things). I have to say this judge just gave the term liberal new meaning. Go figure.

I will do my Karmic, rally-jacket wearing best to help the Reds offense score some runs. Mussina is pitching for the Yanks, unfortunately, he forgot he was Mike Mussina...maybe tonight he will remember.
