    No Rematch

Tuesday, April 1, 2008, 09:13 PM EST [NCAA Hoops]

What would have been an interesting scenario--last year's national championship teams meeting in the NIT championship--will not come to order. As Florida was unable to hold on to their 7-point halftime lead.  In a month that has had many 2nd half comebacks this was not suprising, especially since Massachusetts overcame a 19 point halftime defiecit to reach this game against Florida beating Syracuse 81-77.  The Gators fell to the Minutemen 78-66 in a game much closer than the final score indicates. Massachusetts awaits the winner of Ohio State and Mississippi (let's hope Andy Kennedy can win and rub some more glory in Zimpher's face.)

ESPN has just reported that Indiana University is on the verge of hiring Marquette's head coach Tom Crean. All that is needed is a signed letter from Crean. More to come later.

    Sutton out in Stillwater

Just heard this on the radio. He was 39-29 since taking over for his father, but failed to make the NCAA tournament both years losing in the first round of the NIT each year.

I got my new shoes last night and I am fairly stoked about them. Too bad my car is being used by someone else since theirs broke, and now I can't go to the park and put them to use.

    The Beginning

Monday, March 31, 2008, 05:13 PM EST [General]

    Welcome to the Blog.

My life pretty much revolves around sports. Between school and work, my life is practically dedicated to sports.  I am in the process of getting a degree in engineering, but my main passion is sports.   I'd love to do something with sports for my career; thus, i am writing a blog on this website.  Any tips, ideas or connections would be greatly appreciated.

I'll try to update this this as often as possible, with random little trinkets as I come across them.
