Based on items I read by Hobson on Bengals.com:
In a blog 3 weeks ago (before the hammie), I had this assessment of Rudi:

This guy will be much more important to the Bengals success than I thought he would be during the offseason. Rudi will once again start, and more than likely carry a good chunk of carries during the first half of the season anyway. Looking at the Bengals RB situation is a lesson in injuritis...
Well, Rudi is finally set to return to practice tonight in G'Town!!! I was starting to doubt Rudi because he has had that darn hammie problem for what seems forever. He has taken a lot of punishment since Dillon left and I'm not sure how old Rudi is, but he has to be approaching the RB wall (age 30)...but to see him suited up will be a sight for sore eyes. If he goes tonight, he should be able to play Sunday night.

T.J. looks to be on the way back, and with the receiver situation as it is, they need him badly. (I can't believe none of the #3 WRs stepped up...very disappointed in Chatman, and Simpson was a reach in the 2nd round. They could have got him probably a couple rounds later).

Right after it was found out the charges had been dropped in Henry's latest case, I toyed with the idea of bringing him back, but after serious contemplation...I say no way! Have the 3 man be the decoy but with Utecht and Perry out of the backfield, they will be able to surpass the #3 WR production. Like we always said before we had a TE pass-catch specialist, there's only so many balls to go around...Speaking of balls:
"All I've got in this world is my word and my balls, and I ain't breakin neither for nobody!" -paraphrase of famous Tony Montana line-
The Bengals need to let go and realize they can't depend on Slim and he is not the make or break for the team...he's good, but not that good, and not worth the trouble.

Also, I am going to continue to harp on the Bengals installing some 3-step drop stuff for Palmer!!!!! That stuff works really well on 3rd and medium to long. I am tired of seeing Palmer do a 7 step drop and throw the ball 20 yards downfield when all they need is 7 yards.

HELP! I think I'm screwed for the rest of the preseason games as far as watching live, unless any of you have any suggestions. I will do some research myself, but with all the licensing issues and broadcast rights and such, I am almost certain I won't be able to watch another preseason contest here in NYC.

I love Bush in China!

So long, everybody!

Hey Rashied, I like the 3 step drop stuff.....I think Rudi is 28....I've "heard" Pittsburgh was going to take Simpson right after us in the 2nd...don't know if it's true...and finally, you're right, leave Slim for another team.
