You have got to be excited about what is going on with UC football. I mean who in their right mind would have thought the football program would ever make it to this height of the national stage and a possible BCS bowl berth to boot. I live in Tampa and am proud to brag about the bearcats ( I take a ton of **** for being a bengals fan) I hope that they make it to the orange bowl I will diffently make the 4 hour trip to root on the cats. You also gotta feel so good for Brian kelly, I think that the whole athletic department has taken a huge hit since Huggs has been gone. I admire the work that dantonio did and you cannot cut him short but still it just felt hard to care about anything UC. It would be a shame if Kelley were to leave for TENN or another program but at the same time you gotta give him so much respect for what he has done. My only fear is that where does the program go from here ? Do you have the clout and name recognition after making it to the rose bowl to go and get a guy with a name and solid rep or do you find another gem up and comer. I think that they got luck in dantonio and damn lucky in finding Brian Kelly, it is going to really be a testament to this program if there were able to find a charm for a third time. Also I really admire the talent that is coming to the program and that is their now. Gillyard and Goodman are studs. I hope the program builds from here and becomes a force to be reckoned with.
