About Me: Im not really sure im the most qualified person to fill in this section, because: a. I don't know what the hell im talking about half the time and b. Im sure whatever you are going to read the following paragraph might make me sound slightly better than i really am, so just take it with a grain of salt. I guess i should start by saying that I live with my wonderful Girlfriend, Jamie, and my three year old daughter, Kayleigh. My family is the most important thing in my life, without them I am just a bumbling idiot... Well i still am most of the time, but living with two women... well (one and a half)... tends to keep a guy in line... Im kind of a sports nerd, and by that i mean, when im at home with nothing to do espn is on pretty much the whole time, I regularly watch the same episode of sportscenter 2-3 times. And when im online, and not on myspace, im probably either on the espn, reds, or bengals website. Speaking of the reds, i have an unhealthy obsession with the Mr. Redlegs mascot. I love the summer, whether it be playing basketball, eating a good sno-cone, chillin by the pool, or grilling out and nearly all of those things are made even better, with an ice cold beer in hand... Weather permitting, I love to go to the park early and either shoot basketball, or run for a little bit... its a good way to relive stress... Even though a lot of people complain about it, i couldn't imagine not living in the greater Cincinnati area, if for no other reasons than a. i couldn't live with out my reds and bengals b. i would miss skyline, larosas, and even montgomery inn entirely too much. That being said, i really hope i can one day have the means to travel the world. I think its really dumb for people not to experience other cultures and see new things. Like if i could choose between having a nice house and car and crap, or being able to travel... i would be packing my bags...

    Chad Johnson

Friday, April 4, 2008, 10:33 AM EST [General]

So ever since Chad starting opening his mouth during media week, I've tried to just ignore him. But after hearing the last couple interviews on ESPN, the only emotion that I have when listening to him is pity.  I honestly beleive he is a good person, its widely noted that he is a hard worker, he does things for the community, and despite many who believe otherwise, I think all he cares about is winning.

It seems that he's just lost touch with reality. As a casual observer, I get the impression that he doesn't have much else in his life other than football. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that he just needs to find that theres more to life than what happens on the field.  I sincerely hope Chad can pull himself together, not only because I want to see him succeed with the Bengals the rest of his career, but more importantly he needs to find some peace of mind for his own sake.

    Welcome

Monday, March 31, 2008, 11:03 PM EST [General]

So I have to admit, I'm pretty pumped about this site. The biggest reason being that while I enjoy blogging from time to time, It seems that many people on those sites don't really pay attention to blogs.  Myspace, for example, is just full of teenagers posting dumb surveys and emo song lyrics that seem to perfectly fit their ever-apathetic mood.

Being a realist, however, I understand that its quite possible the reason no one read my ramblings is because they really weren't all that entertaining. But being a realist sucks so I'm going to continue to tell myself that I am the greatest thing to happen to the Internet since porn.

I plan on telling you a little bit more about myself in the coming days, but as for tonight my digestive system seems to be dying a slow and painful death due to a diet of Goetta and eggs in the morning, hotwings for lunch, a steady helping of draft beer, and some skyline coneys for supper. All of this, of course, is in honor of opening day. But more on the game, and my conspiracy theories about the Reds Race later... Nature Calls.
